25 mpg with a Hemi!
I have had this vehicle for 2 years and have taken many long trips and done quite a bit of towing. When driven conservatively, I experienced 25 mpg on a trip from NY to Vermont! It is an amazing vehicle and has been very reliable. I have had very few issues with the vehicle and the only disappointing factor is the rapid depreciation. I picked it up when it was 4 months old with 4000 miles for 20k, so I'm in a better situation than most who purchased these vehicles new, but based off my ownership experience and total and complete satisfaction, I would recommend a Durango to anyone looking for the extra space and ability to tow.

All the bells & whistles!
Went from Expedition to Durango and love it! The price was great considering I maxed out the options! It's surprisingly quiet (kids are quiet too with wireless headphones), parks easily (size fits well & steers great), awesome power (gets up and goes when you pass someone), soooo many extras. Gas mileage is not the best but I didn't expect that it would be... actually got better after first 1000 miles! I find that I use the navigations system much more than I ever thought that I would. DVD system is easy to use for my young children and they love that they can listen to their own music. One free year of Sirius Radio a nice add-on. Felt very safe driving in snow & ice on recent trip.
2006 Dodge Durango
I bought this truck and traded in my 2000 Acura RL because my wife is pregnant with our third child and we needed the room. The Acura was paid for and I did not want a big note, so price was an important issue. Since my late grandfather retired from Chrysler, we were able to get the employee price. We got an in-stock truck w/ every option available, except GPS. Shortly after purchase, my family went on a trip from Delaware to South Carolina. I am very pleased with the way this vehicle performs and rides. I also really like all the options.
Lovin' it!
I have had my new Durango for about two weeks and I love it! It is nice to look at and rides very smooth. We have a new baby, and really enjoy the room it offers. This is my first Durango, but probably won't be my last.
