Dodge does not back their product whatsoever. This was the most horrible experience I've ever encountered with a vehicle. I will never own another dodge product. Beware of the transmission and get the extended warranty.

Owned R/T for several months now and regret trading in my Infiniti for it. Had 32K when purchased and had tie rod problems from the day I drove off lot. Wife broke down 3 days after purchase. Went back to have driver side window switch replaced due to failure, Window came off track At 44k transmission started slipping on highway at 65mph. Took to dealer and whole transmission needed to be replaced over $2k. Lucky I bought extended warranty but still cost me $425 out of pocket. Still doesn't feel right. Slips now when rear end hits any bump on highway. I am going with my wife this week to get rid of it and buy a foreign car. American cars are just not up to the quality level.

2003 durango slt 4x4. Hands down the worst, most unreliable ,vehicle I have ever owned. This durango has been in the shop more than it has been on the road. The 4.7 could be the worst motor ever built. Drives like a tank and gets terrible gas mileage. I will Never buy another dodge. The only good dodges are the classics and a few of the trucks , mostly diesels 1st generation.

I love this rig, plenty of space for people and cargo, plenty of towing capacity to pull around a boat or trailer of ATV’s. Maintenance is about average, still running the original Powertrain. The transfer case and front driveshaft being its weak link. The 5.9 makes good power and is as reliable as anything on the road.

I've had 3 Durango's & I've had many problems but overall, I love it! I have a 5.9 ltr engine and she does love to run! Navy blue, 4x4 SLT. My 5.9 engine is rare so I can't find parts unless I order them.
