My first flirtation with Dodge.....
I have always promised myself I would never own a Dodge due to pain and trouble a 78 Dodge power wagon 4x4 that my parents owned when I was growing up put us all through. That truck caused me to have to walk no less than 50 miles in my life due to break downs, so when I grew up I promised myself that I would never own a Dodge until I saw the Hellcat and did a test drive in own, unfortunately I had to let the salesman know that there was no way that I could possibly buy the Hellcat as if I did I would be arrested within 4 hours for excessive speeding, or worse. So he introduced me to the 2017 Scat pack, not quite the Hellcat but she can get the job done when I want her to, there are issues like Dodge not releasing parts for it so I can add the remote starter and the 4g internet, I am about to file a lemon law claim against Dodge based upon that issue.

LEASE IT !!
I owned 2 of these Challengers over the years. My first was 2010 RT. Great car overall - Leather, a RELIABLE Uconnect, heated seats. Resale value was...decent at best. My 2nd (and last) Challenger was a 2017 5.7 TA. Awesome to look at, amazing growling exhaust but a total waste of money. Grossly overpriced gimmick details, uncomfortable seats, poor instrumentation display, God- awful Uconnect system...the car had so many nuisance issues I decided to unload it. The trade in value is the worst Ive ever experienced and made for a terrible economic decision. Had I only leased it, I wouldn't be so harsh on it.

Old school muscle done right
This is my first Hemi and first American vehicle. It’s a comfortable car with plenty of space for a coupe. I have the normal 5.4L V8 and that’s plenty of power for me. The build quality is nice. Wry comparable to the interior of a VW. The only issue I’ve had so far is the 8” Uconnect 4c infotainment screen is peeling from the back of the glass. Luckily I’m in the warranty period where the replacement is covered.

Forget the last guys review!
I have had 5 of the Dodge challengers starting with a 2010 RT and had no problems with any of them including my hell cat 2016 and now have the 2017 challenger TA and nothing that the last person said made any sense???the seats are heated leather and cooled in summer with air adjustable lumbar..sooo? very comfortable.the dash is amazing to look at and has the early 70s look and are very easy to see even at night.the T/A comes equipped with the hellcat super track pack push button for drag racing which also adjust the suspension and opens up the exhaust which isn't a cheap option.so in short the added tuned track pack makes the car worth more at trade in then a regular RT that isn't equipped with the super track pack.also the car is lowerd a half inch to an inch over the RT for handling.who ever this last guy is must of allowed himself to get screwed at a dealership when he traded his in, because that dealer got top dollar from the next person he sold it to! Great car and absolutely love the functionality of the hood and how it rams the cold air into the motor.which is also something you don't get with the RT.

great performance car
This is a traditional rear drive performance car that can be tame or wild, depending on your mood. It doesn't do anything wrong, given what it is. It is more fun than anything else for the price. It is never dull.
