My 2005 PT Cruiser Touring Edition

I bought this car new in 2005. Decided to wait on a review until it was a few years old. I like to test something out for quite awhile before giving a review. It has low miles because I mainly use it as my work/commuter car. But it is a pretty reliable car. Haven't had too much problems with it. My oil relay went out and my CD player went out as well. That's the only problems I've has with it in the 4 years I've had it. It doesn't get as good of gas mileage as I would have thought...it gets the same as my old 1998 Mustang V6 and I think that's pretty bad actually, it should get better than that. All-in-all good car.

I feel safer because of fast turbo acceleration. It feels good on the road. But not recommended for people who ordinarily take long trips. Great for city driving and parking. The seniors will appreciate the wide accessibility. Trunk space is limited unless you put a rear seat down.

Better Than a HHR

2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited 4dr Wagon (2.4L 4cyl 5M)

Started looking in August at the new Chevy HHR. Test drove one. Too much car for that little 4Cyl. Test drove a PT Limited Cruiser and really liked the way it handled. As far as wanting Turbo, no 4Cyl. engine can handle turbo day in and out. Great Car Chrysler!!!

Car just makes you feel good when you drive it and no matter how many there are each on turn heads. It does not look like every other car on the road. I like that.

bought it brand new but already had a couple of problems after owning it for less than 3 weeks. chirping noise due to misalignment of belt. air conditioning doesn't work well. Brought it to dealer today to have belt replaced and have AC checked. car seats are not comfortable. gas mileage is OK. the first tank got 24.2 mpg, not bad.
