Used 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Wagon Consumer Reviews
2005 Touring AWD - Very Pleased
I've driven 3000 miles and I am extremely happy with this auto. A third of these miles have been driven in bad Winter weather. The Pacifica with AWD has handled these Winter condition better than I expected. Far better than my previous SUV. The road handling is exceptional. I have never felt safer in an automobile. The engine power has incresed substantially since the first 1500 miles. It has plenty under the hood. I do not understand the reviews that complain about the lack of power. I drive on hilly roads and the Pacifica has plenty of get up an go. I have averaged 19.4 MPG after the first 1000 miles. This is all Winter driving with a mix of city and highway. Not too bad.
Drive it you will buy it.
This car has it all. POWER, STYLE, Comfort,AAAAAAAAAAA plus. If you're a soccer mom who is tired of van after van, This ride is for you. I have three kids and have driven van after van for 11 years, boring. I bought my Pacifica a year ago , Know problems it rocks. Ill buy another one for sure. Drive it you'll buy it. Don't let your husband drive it or you will never get it back. ha ha ha. I used to build high performance cars many years ago. Stock it Rocks Snow driving used to be no fun. Now I have fun and saftey isn't an issue.

Great all around vehicle
I was ready to trade my van for a convertible sports car but, with a teenage son who plays drums and needed transportation to college, I gave into a large capacity vehicle. I made a great choice. The Pacifica holds a ton of stuff while providing the feel of a luxury sedan. It drives great, has an outstanding dashboard and electronics inventory, leather, wood trim etc. I can also get 22 bags of mulch into it any time I need to.
Love it! - Except for gas mileage
We pretty much love the Pacifica except that we haven't gotten more than 18 miles to the gallon in a year even though its sticker said 17-24.
Love it
My wife picked this vehicle, and we both like it alot
Very Happy Pac Owner
I recently purchased an 05 Red FWD 3.8L 5 passenger Pac and have been very pleased so far. Those that knock the performance must be expecting too much. I transitioned from a Turbo Volvo S40 and I have been pleased with the performance. The car is assembled very well and exhibits surprising handling, comfort and has a quiet cabin. All in all a very satisfactory experience. I purchased mine by way of the dealers internet offer page. My price before tax,tag and title, 19,995! That included the beautiful red metallic paint and the alloy wheels. I think that at that price, my pacifica is a whole lot of car & value for the money.
Safe! Safe! Safe!
I bought this car on July 29th and on August 5th someone was in a right turn only lane and merged left going 45mph into my brand new car! After the initial shock wore off and I looked at the car, it looked horrible on the outside but IF my girls would have been with me they wouldn't have been touched! The support in the doors are awesome! I was glad to see that whoever might have been in the back would have been fine and let me tell you, the impact was enough to spin me twice! I rate (for safety) it a 10!
I love my car!
I did a lot of research before buying my 2005 Pacifica. I have never been so happy with a vehicle purchase. The Pacifica is great for my family and it's fun to drive. The kids love it. It drives smooth and so far seems very reliable. There were a couple of glitches at first..the back window switch had the window going down when I started the ignition, and the engine tension pully was squealing. All was fixed though. Overall I love my car.
Never thought I'd own a Chrysler
I saw the Pacifica while on a nothing to do on Saruraday trip through the local dealership. Interesting design I thought. After a test drive and some research I was sold. I have owned and rented many cars in my time and this is the best vehicle I have driven. I have had it for 10 months and still get that "can't wait to drive it" feeling.
Breakdown
I started my trip from texas and brokedown in ind., With a grinding in the right front wheel. The dealer said that i should not be driving the car, with 3000 miles on it. They gave me a rental but was without the car for three days because they had to order the whole front wheel. We also had water dripping on my wifes foot from the air. Cond. They replaced the filter and filter door. It is still leaking with 9,000 miles and the dealer said that i should change the temp. In the car to correct the problem? We also had an emissions pump go bad with 8,000 miles and had to spend four hours at the dealers waiting for them to get the part from some other dealer.
