Used 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Fwd 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Red Pacifica
We drove a number of these before we bought one and loved the way they road. However this one after we bought it seemed to ride rougher than the others. It seems to shake back and forth when going down streets at 35 to 4o mph. Highway driving is great.
2004 Pacifica
This is a really nice vehicle. It looks good, handles well, rides nice and has a pretty fair amount of room inside. I didn't get any options since this is just an extra vehicle we bought for when we need to haul things or take 6 people. I have had one problem so far with a misaligned fan belt pulley, but otherwise it runs very nice. If you can pick one up at a good discount, this vehicle is great.

tow me
It handles very poor on uneven roads, way to much wobble. Good get up and go, nice and comfortable. Tows good with my motorhome with a Remco pump installed for transmission lubing
Moving up in the world
We just bought it this month, so we really do not have a long term experience with it. We feel we got an excellent deal compared to looking at a new one. The vehicle rides and drives very nice. I doesn't feel as Chrysler as previous Chrysler vehicles I have owned. It could use some more power, but for what we use it for it is great. I have faster, more powerful vehicles for that.
Better than a Van
Traded a minivan for Pacifica, wife and I are carnuts with Sebring conv. and Corvette as second/third cars. Liked the exterior styling and really like interior and the ability to lower all rear seats rather than lifting out seats for hauling. First test drive sold us for the extremely quiet ride and low engine noise. Just felt like we were driving a luxury car rather than van/suv. Only complaint is rear vision when backing up with high window and the backup lights don't do much when backing up at night.
I Will Never Buy Chrysler Again!
I used to love my pacifica until this last Nov. 08. The motor mounts were cracked and Chrysler was unable to provide new parts(which I would gladly pay for) to fix my car. I searched everywhere and was unable to find the parts. My Pacifica sat in my driveway for 5 months undriveable! Chrysler denied my repeated request for a rental car replacement. I called Chrysler customer service every week for updates as to when the part would be available. First I was told the part would be available in March of 09, then Feb., then March again, then April. I finally found a mechanic who got the part for me in mexico. I was told there are 2000 other Pacifica owners going through the same ordeal.
Pleasantly Surprised
After reseaching, I felt that it was worth taking a look at. Well, my first impression after seeing the vehicle was...Wow. Really looks great. Was previous minivan owner and wanted something other than van or SUV. After test driving the Pacifica, I was hooked. I couldn't believe how comfortable the ride was. I was pleasantly surprised at how luxurious the interior was; the seats are comfortable and leg room is more than adequate. I felt that it was a really well built car. I've owned for 3 months and can say that I really love it. The attention that the car recieves, the comfort, the overall experience has been great.
Fits the bill
This vehicle is a compromise between a sedan and a minivan for us.We make a long trip each year and have a lot of stuff to take with us. It is fun to drive, has acceptable gas mileage. We are averaging about 18.1 city and highway. It has plenty of cargo space which converts into passenger seats easily. We would buy again at this time, but we have only had the car about two months.
Pacifica 2004
I found the vehicle quite responsive and causing a great deal of questions and attention. The mignight blue color shows every piece of dirt or smear. Do not recommend. The interior leather is a beautiful piece of design and work. Small thing, but I love the analog clock. In former cars, I had great difficulty reading the digital types. I have only driven 1100 miles so take my critique with a grain of salt,
Mostly love
The German infulence shows. The handling compares to BMW or Mercedes. Glad I bought the FWD rather than AWD. The gas mileage is better and managed our PA snow just fine. I wouldn't recommend it for a young family dealing with car seats or car pooling but it works well with my 11 and 13 year olds who want their own seats and contols.
