I've had my Pacifica for less than two months now and so far I've had it in the shop 5 times and going for #6. The concept behind the Pacifica is very good however the build quality on this vehicle is horrible. The drivers side floor board is always wet due to a leak that they can't seem to find. I've also had a computer system go bad and it just went out again yesterday and now there is a clunk in the rear when you go over bumps. I couldn't pass up the lease special on this car, that's why I bought it. I can't wait until my lease is up. It fits my family's needs very well however It should be parked in my driveway all the time and not the dealership.

The car drives OK except for the noise. I have three kids and it has to be loud for me to hear in the car. There is a sever flapping noise at 60- 70MPH under the hood. As it turns out it is the fender wells are not secured and flapping around. They tried to fix... still trying. If you roll down one rear window the buffeting noise is at the threshold of pain. Is sounds like the wheel is comming off.

So Far So Good

We were looking for a car that was sporty but had a third seat. We love the ride, which is quiet, the interior set-up which is spacious, the ease of using controls, and my wife really likes the heated seats. When I first bought the care it was recalled immediately (power train chip) and the tire pressure monitor did not function and needed to be changed. But nothing since and we now have 3500 miles. On the first trip I got 23-4 mpg and have been averaging 18-19 in city so not bad but I hope for improvement. The car is underpowered and shifts into high gear quicker than my wife's Bonneville which gets better mileage running at lower RPM's.

I bought my pacifica thinking I was getting the newest trend. The only thing I got was the shaft as in the drive shaft. I had to replace both within first year and both motor mounts. The transmission is terrible and is slipping. It does not handle well at all. Never again will I but one.

I was shopping for a new SUV and looked everywhere for great price. Well finally found it and this crossover has been horrible for us. First thing wrong 4 days after buying it car shuts down on expressway no reason, next oil leaking, next starts making clapping noise, next starts kicking back while driving as if changing gears! Next had to have pulley tensioner replaced now making horrible noise that wont go away, now alternator is failing! What else can go wrong, this was supposed to be my dream car n turns out to be a nightmare!

At the very begining I relly like it, but at 6000 miles a noise either in the steering or front supension started and the dealer said they didn't find any noise the two times the vehicle was for service. Also at 6K miles a module for the power locks and windows stoped working.

I have owned my Pacifica for 4 weeks and so far I have only good things to say about my car. The radio controls are a bit fussy but that's just a litle thing. The drive is solid with a good feel for the road but not stiff or rigid. It sits up a little higher than a sedan but not too high. At 5' tall being comfortable behind the wheel in very important. The adjustable pedals, seat and steering column make that a non-issue. The third row seats are not made just for children. They are roomy and comfortable for adults as well. Overall, probably the nicest car I've owned and that includes an Acura.

Purchased this car with 50k miles on it. Since purchase is has been to the dealer for a total of about 3 weeks. We had to rebuild the first motor, then replace it 6 months later. Had to replace the intake manifold, motor mounts 3 separate times. If it can break it will. It now sits in a parking lot awaiting a tow due to it stalling while idling through the lot. Cant get rid of this thing because its a chrysler and its worthless to the dealerships, 9k dollars upside down in the loan due to lousy blue book value.

We drove a number of these before we bought one and loved the way they road. However this one after we bought it seemed to ride rougher than the others. It seems to shake back and forth when going down streets at 35 to 4o mph. Highway driving is great.
