Ever since the first TV commercial I saw for the Pacifica I was taken by its stylish appearance. I love the width and road hugging feeling when I drive it. It has been a very safe car for me I had some problems with it initially that I have come to attribute to it's first manufacture year as well as some malfunctioning assemblers on the line. Chrysler and my dealership were top notch in dealing with me and the vehicle. My lease will be up in another year. I am looking forward to that notification that offers me a buy-out so I can get myself into an '06 or an '07 with all the new bells and whistles. I believe in this car. I would get another one without question. A red one this time!

Love the looks, but needs more power.

I am very happy with the way the Pacifica looks and how comfortable it is, BUT the engine is underpowered. In a situation where you have to accelerate quickly, you're in trouble. I have a hard time believing this engine was in the 300M. After complaints about the PT Cruiser being underpowered, (now corrected with a turbo available), they should have thought ahead and beefed up the engine on the Pacifica in the first place.

This vehicle is a compromise between a sedan and a minivan for us.We make a long trip each year and have a lot of stuff to take with us. It is fun to drive, has acceptable gas mileage. We are averaging about 18.1 city and highway. It has plenty of cargo space which converts into passenger seats easily. We would buy again at this time, but we have only had the car about two months.

First Chysler but loved it the first time I saw it in an ad. Room for the whole family (mom, dad, and 4 kids) and the DVD player keeps them all happy on long trips. Gas mileage reaches 25 MPG on Wyoming/Colorado interstate, about 17 in town. Can tow trailer down the highway and still get nearly 17 MPG.

Extremely comfortable and a real head- turner. Impressed with handling and performance; DaimlerChrysler/Mercedes has a winner with the Pacifica!

So far it has been a joy to drive and I noticed two minor cosmetic defects in the workmanship that teh dealer will resolve.

I like this car. It has done everything we needed it to do. My wife and I have three young kids and the car fits them and their car seats fine (one seat had to be taken out, though). It is much safer than any minivan out there. The handling/braking of the Pacifica is very good and definitely could factor into avoiding an accident.

My 2004 Chrysler Pacifica is the best handling, most comfortable, a delight to drive vehicle I have ever owned. I especially find the most useful feature to be the moving map. I could not do without this item now that I am used to using it. This vehicle corners better than any vehicle that I have ever riden in. I would like to help design the exterior trim. This is the only item I would want changed on my Pacifica.

Questionable experience

The moon roof exploded and pushed the glass in small pieces up and out of the vehicle. Glass came back into the vehicle. The dealership was not concerned with safety. They were unable to understand the safety concern. A 2nd moon roof was installed. The weatherproof strip buckled in less than a day. The dealership could not explain the previous so we were concerned this buckling may create the same accident. The owner of Norco Motors Pacifica moon roof has no signs buckling. A 3rd moon roof will be installed in the vehicle. They apologize that we feel unsafe. They are sure we are not. They cannot explain why it happened.

Owned this car for 2 years. Drove over 2000 miles this summer on trip with wife and two small kids. Great ride, comfortable, not bad gas mileage and enough space. For the features and luxury, very good value. Fairly reliable, never stranded. Biggest problem has been air pressure monitoring system - replaced 2x. In single car accident and no one hurt - very safe. Car repaired and like new.
