Pleasantly Surprised

After reseaching, I felt that it was worth taking a look at. Well, my first impression after seeing the vehicle was...Wow. Really looks great. Was previous minivan owner and wanted something other than van or SUV. After test driving the Pacifica, I was hooked. I couldn't believe how comfortable the ride was. I was pleasantly surprised at how luxurious the interior was; the seats are comfortable and leg room is more than adequate. I felt that it was a really well built car. I've owned for 3 months and can say that I really love it. The attention that the car recieves, the comfort, the overall experience has been great.

Pacifica--Wagon, SUV, Van?

I purchased our Pacifica 14 months ago. I am impressed with the car overall. The ride and build quality are some of the best on the market. It handles well on dry, wet, and icy roads. Comfort on long and short trips is outstanding. The car is basically a Mercedes with a Chrysler wing logo on it. In 14 months, I have only had to have the car worked on twice (power seat module and HVAC blower fan motor), other than normal service. I am disappointed with the car not retaining its value, based on the Edmunds Used Car values.

I was shopping for a new SUV and looked everywhere for great price. Well finally found it and this crossover has been horrible for us. First thing wrong 4 days after buying it car shuts down on expressway no reason, next oil leaking, next starts making clapping noise, next starts kicking back while driving as if changing gears! Next had to have pulley tensioner replaced now making horrible noise that wont go away, now alternator is failing! What else can go wrong, this was supposed to be my dream car n turns out to be a nightmare!

The German infulence shows. The handling compares to BMW or Mercedes. Glad I bought the FWD rather than AWD. The gas mileage is better and managed our PA snow just fine. I wouldn't recommend it for a young family dealing with car seats or car pooling but it works well with my 11 and 13 year olds who want their own seats and contols.

I found the vehicle quite responsive and causing a great deal of questions and attention. The mignight blue color shows every piece of dirt or smear. Do not recommend. The interior leather is a beautiful piece of design and work. Small thing, but I love the analog clock. In former cars, I had great difficulty reading the digital types. I have only driven 1100 miles so take my critique with a grain of salt,

drives like a car, firm and quiet ride. great body panel fit. big tires and wide track makes the car very stable. With the side curtin airbags it makes you feel safer with grandkids in the back. And it looks great!!

A classic stylish look and strong appearance on the road, this vehicle is an attention-getter. The interior says you are special with leather enveloped steering wheel, controls that put you into the 21st century. A navigation system (optional), 6 CD-DVD (optional), and FWD or 4WD. With the click of a button you can be driving a standard or an automatic, very clever. The bonus is knowing that Mercedes had a hand in building this dream ride. Test drive one and you will be sold.

This vehicle is a compromise between a sedan and a minivan for us.We make a long trip each year and have a lot of stuff to take with us. It is fun to drive, has acceptable gas mileage. We are averaging about 18.1 city and highway. It has plenty of cargo space which converts into passenger seats easily. We would buy again at this time, but we have only had the car about two months.

Questionable experience

The moon roof exploded and pushed the glass in small pieces up and out of the vehicle. Glass came back into the vehicle. The dealership was not concerned with safety. They were unable to understand the safety concern. A 2nd moon roof was installed. The weatherproof strip buckled in less than a day. The dealership could not explain the previous so we were concerned this buckling may create the same accident. The owner of Norco Motors Pacifica moon roof has no signs buckling. A 3rd moon roof will be installed in the vehicle. They apologize that we feel unsafe. They are sure we are not. They cannot explain why it happened.
