STR-8 - day 1
Day 1: Still getting use the the car. Awesome power, great looks, handles great for a heavy car. Great fun to drive. Most impressive for me has been the power this car has and how quick it is for a car of this size and weight.
great
i love the car. the only thing i don't like is the wear on the tires and rims along with the alignment issues. it also gets very poor gas mileage, not to mention the upkeep on the car is insane ($).

better than mercedes
and half the price. Use to drive a 600SL who spend more time at the dealership than on the road because of malfunctions. The SRT8 is really an amazing car.
Have your cake and eat it, too!
First driving impressions are that this feels like a luxury car. But stomp on the pedal or push deep into a corner and you'll think it's a sports car. Great combination of rich features & high performance. I've taken a few long road trips across Texas and you can eat up the miles at 120 plus mph while your passengers sleep comfortably. The interior room and truck space are incredible for a car with this level of performance. The mechanic at my local dealer says he rarely sees one come in for repairs, which is a good sign. Note that synthetic oil is a $75 - $100 affair, and it eats gas and tires (every 15k miles at $300 each), but even after paying my $$$ I think it's worth every penny!
A true performance sedan
The Chrysler 300 SRT 8 takes performance too a whole new level. I previously owned a 300 C and I thought it was impresive but the SRT8 goes to another level. I love the sport/muscle car performance and also all of the luxuries of a world class sedan.
