Used 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV Consumer Reviews
Disgusted
I bought my trailblazer LT may 2009 already I have electric problem no front lights dealer says he doesn't fix them my gas tank gauge stopped working in October 2009 and they said they can't fix it now my stabilizer is malfunctioning and yes you guessed it they can't fix that either what was the purpose of buying a warranty for $1750.00 and it doesn't cover anything
Cam Sensor out at 52,000 miles
I haven't had this car a year, it has less than 53k miles and the cam sensor malfunctioned. To replace also requires a tune up, as the failure fouled the plugs. Fix - $706. This is the reason I don't buy American made cars.

Nice Vehicle
Went from a 2003 Lexus RX 300 AWD to the 2006 Trailblazer. Very pleaseantly surprised. First American made vehicle in years. Nice features and ride. No problems. Very nice 6 cylinder engine. No regrets so far. The dealership was great with a no nonsense deal that no one else could match. Even my wife likes it.
Great truck
I owned an 2000 S10 blazer LT before this one, what an improvement. 100 more horsepower and better mileage. Build quality is vastly improved, no rattles. Rides smoother. Better handling.
My Experinece
I bought my TB LS in 2007 w/ 18,000k. I'm currently operating this vehicle w/ 89,000. I have replaced the fuel pump, my LO Headlamps are in-opt, and I've had interior issues from poor material. I have used this vehicle for daily commute to work and family trips. I'm currently experiencing engine knocking. I have maintained proper oil changes, etc. I am looking at trading this vehicle in for a more reliable sedan with better mpg. I will likely have to hold on the this vehicle a little longer in order to finance another vehicle due to negative equity on the TB.
