MY TRUCK IS RUSTING
This truck was purchased at the very end of 2001 so has now been through two Michigan winters. After only 18mos of ownership, RUST has developed along all of the doors lower, inner edge seams and along the inner underside of the hood. Rust is the equivalent of cancer in a car, almost impossible to stop once it has gotten a start. In this day & age, there is no excuse for this lapse in quality. My opinion has gone from one of joy to despair as this truck is not going to last as long as I had hoped...just more money wasted. Too bad, as this truck has been mechanically trouble free.

Great SUV
I have had the Chevy Trail Blaser 6 months,10,000 mile and just had my first oil change WOW" best SUV I have driven, Very confortable ride, i am 6'2" and have broad shoulders and it has plenty of room. i have not taken it off road but down very rough dirt roads and it has a smooth ride. It's the best.
Almost completely satisfied
Bought this one new. Use for towing pop-up camper and boat. Good power and reasonable fuel economy with I-6: 18 mpg (suburban) 21 (highway) 16 mpg (highway towing). Only two mechanical problems: fan clutch (my pocket) and loose baffle in muffler (warranty). Original Goodrich tires went 60,000 miles. Very satisfied but will likey replace with one of the new GM crossovers for better economy and increased passenger capacity/cargo space.
Best Chevy SUV Ever
Had this SUV for a year now. Not much mileage yet, but I took it for a couple long trips. Very smooth drive, with lots of power. No problems at all in the snow. Every thing seems to be in the perfect place in the driver seat. Great looking car, elegant with a touch of muscle. Noticed some vibrating /thumping on the brake pedal when braking on bumpy roads. And a loud fan noise sometimes when I start the car, but goes away as I drive away. Other than that Chevy Trailblazer is #1. Wouldnt want to drive anything else.
