Used 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Consumer Reviews
Not the worst SUV but for the price not the best
We bought our 2018 Tahoe new. After owning it for just about 4 years we had to replace the AC condenser and the battery. All of this happened with barely 43,000 miles. The Tahoe drives nice, is comfortable, and does ok on gas mileage but if we had to replace those things in a fairly new SUV I don't want to know the long term issues it could have.I bought the Tahoe thinking I would get a reliable SUV. We traded it in shortly after we replaced the condenser because we didn't want to find out. I bought the Tahoe thinking I would get a reliable SUV.

this is a fast vehicle, high quality
gets great fuel economy for a big vehicle. Very peppy around town and has great comfort at high speeds. Never a problem with 35k so far

Relability Issues
Have 65,000 miles on my 2019, the torque converter failed and sent metal debris throughout the transmission. Now I have to replace the entire transmission at cost around $6,000. Earlier this year the bypass HMI bypass module went out, costing over $600.00 to replace.

2018 Tahoe
This is a great family or all purpose vehicle. I love the room and storage capacity. The only issue is the loading height is a little to high and makes it more difficult than other suv’s. The gas mileage and turning radius is what I expected for a large suv.

Overpriced Junk!
This is my first and last Chevy vehicle. I bought my 2018 Premier Tahoe as a demo with 4500 miles. There has been a buzzing noise since month three. It has been to two separate dealerships more than I can count and they conveniently cannot hear the noise while it's there. The noise doesn't occur when I take them for a ride in the Tahoe, either. Said noise stops when I cut off the air (heat or cooling). Anyone else have this problem? I paid WAY too much for this vehicle. The ride was only smooth temporarily. The blower has been replaced and I'm waiting for the day for it to completely break down. Worst car purchase I've made, to date!
