Used 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Consumer Reviews
I am done with Chevy vehicles
2018 Chevy Tahoe has had the following problems in the last 4 years 1) column shifter was stuck and had to be replaced. I couldn't move the shifter from park to drive. 2) this summer my AC wasn't working. Took the vehicle to the Chevy dealership and was told the AC condenser had to be replaced. After researching the problem, many customers were reporting the same issues in previous models. They most likely replaced the AC condenser with the same defective part. 3) Engine would hesitate 1 or 2 times. The engine would almost stall and feel bogged down. 4) Just informed yesterday (Oct 10, 2022) that my transmission has to be replaced. Pohanka Chevy dealership would not return my calls so after dropping it off on Friday morning I didn't get any assistance or status calls until Monday morning when I showed up for a third time at the dealership. I was waiting for a simple diagnostic to confirm the issue. I've been getting my scheduled maintenance so it really seems like these vehicles are NO GOOD WHATSOEVER!! Was informed by other Chevy service reps that other Chevy vehicles are having the same transmission issues before they reach 100k miles on the odometer. No one in Chevy wants to address the issue. These vehicles used to be reliable not anymore. Going with Toyota, Honda, Acura and Lexus for now on.

They Ain't what they use to be!!! Never again!
STILL WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER. I have owned every Tahoe since going from the rough truck ride of the old K5 Blazer. The early Tahoes were a great blend of comfort and utility. The new Tahoe although good comfort has lost most if not all utility. The ride is also not comfortable with the new thinner tires, they take a bump or pothole with a hard knock, and it's quite uncomfortable. I got to the point that I sold the vehicle back to the dealer, I was done with it. UPDATE, two years late and I am really happy I dumped it.

IMPRESSED!
My First Chevy, my first car review !I previously owned a 2008 Honda Pilot, special edition. I am impressed with the Tahoe LS. I took a 1600 mile road trip and averaging 23 MPG. For a SUV this size and with a V8 engine, I am impressed. I like to cruise, I'm a cruiser, i don't speed unless I have too, i can dial up the acceleration when needed! The 23 MPG is due to the engine switching from 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder during flat terrain. When i first picked up the vehicle, I noticed the distance from the wheel to the frame was probably about a foot, I thought it was a bit excessive, but how this SUV glides over the roughest roads, I don't notice it anymore, very smooth! It is a very comfortable ride and drive. I pick up my old man and its easy for him to get in and out because of the step and handle. Second row seats are spacious. The third row is really for a kids, but I'm ok with that. Apple play, onstar services available on LS model. Overall, very happy.
