Used 2002 Chevrolet S-10 Extended Cab Consumer Reviews
Wish they still made these!
This is the third s10 I have owned, I have had a 99,00 and the current 02. I am very partial to the 4.3 because it is very dependable and I always put 200,000 miles or more on these trucks. I do not know why people have had problems with the fuel pump, I have got 180,000 out of all of mine. I always felt the truck was a good buy with good looks for the money! I would Rather push a USA truck than drive any Toyota!
Tetanus shot up to date if you lean against this v
I bought this vehicle when it was 13 years old and only had 40,000 mile s thinking I was getting a cream puff. Immediately had to replace cat converter, O2 sensor, maf sensor, and ac/heater control panel. Love the size of pickup but cheap int, inferior ext(I've owned 2 S10s and both weigh a lot less than when I bought them,RUST)and horrible gas mileage. Idk I'd love to buy another one but i just cant picture myself doing it too many negatives

best small truck i feel
I absolutely love this truck, I wanted to get one for a long time. Zr2 package is my favorite, because it lets the truck come already as a fun looking small sized offroad pick-up. The s10 also is still a Nice truck which ever version, u have, like 4x4,2wd, stripped, loaded, anyway its still comes as a Nice looking truck, unlike the Tacoma or Dakota were if those trucks don't come in the better models they look stripped, and cheap, the Tacoma more so.
Reliable, Not Flashy
The styling might be tiered but the dependability is wide awake. The body panels fit perfectly while the 4.3L 6 cylinder provides plenty of pep for the automatic trans. The payload and towing limits are sufficient for routine household requirements while the fuel efficiency is much better than expected.
Sweet Truck
ZR2 is the best light duty 4x4 available
