Awesome!
I purchased a 92 s10 Blazer Tahoe, for my sons 15th b-day and it had 226,223 miles on it. Ran great surprisingly until an episode with the woods with a broken motor mount and the transmission kept on popping into neutral and eventually blew it up. But we dropped another 4.3 in it and this time we added some major modifications performance wise. But definitely dependable and he absolutely loves it!
Blazer man
I've never had a problem out of my Blazer and it's got 160,000 miles on it. It starts and runs strong every morning, afteroon, and night. The 4 wheel drive system is amazing! Theres nowhere it won't go.
nice
i don't own this vehicle anymore but it was the best vehicle i've ever owned it never got stuck i beat on it alot and it prolly would still be running good if i didn't mud bog with it so much but over all i miss this vehicle alot
My trusty 92
My 1992 Blazer just turned 200,000 miles and it doesn't burn a drop of oil. I use this vehicle like a full size pulling anything and everything and aside from routine maintanence I've never had any problems. This is the best truck I've ever owned.
1992 Chevy Blazer S10
Great running vehicle. Drive train is very well built, and in great shape. Lots of power. I own a deejaying business and have to pull quite a bit of weight and the Blazer handles it nicely. I've pulled it with a new Cadillac Escalade and it was horrible! Blazer is a great buy for the money!
This pup will hunt
I've only owned my Blazer bout 10 months but I've loved it so far . Push button 4x4 is OK but it has never failed me so far. It gets around very well in the mud and handles quite well, and engine power is fair on the blacktop but offroad it is very good and very spunky . I love my Blazer and plan on having it for a while.
fast as heelllllll!
shes the nices thing on 4 wheels and she can move i tell ya.
Love my 92 S10 blazer

30-years-old and still like new!
I've been driving my 30-year-old Chevy s10 Blazer Tahoe all of these years. It still runs and looks new. It gets about 18mpg all of the time no matter how I drive it. The only thing that has been replaced, other than the obvious brake pads, oil etc, was the A/C unit which cost about $900 20 years ago. I take good care of it seeing that it goes to the mechanic each spring for a check up. Rarely does anything need to be replaced. Just had the brake pads changed out for new ones in August 2021. I have the oil changed every 3k miles. That old truck has been a real blessing and has been good to me. My spouse has purchased three new vehicles in all of those years and each time, my and my old truck had to go rescue spouse and the new vehicle at one time or another. I use it about 4 times a week now that I am retired. That old truck has seen a lot in 30 years. I use to use it when needed while I was a professional mapper/land surveyor, so it has visited the woods often and hauled a lot of equipment. Now, it just hauls chicken feed and hales of bay. I paid $5k for it long ago and it has paid for itself many times over. Why the insurance premiums are so high for it, not matter which insurance company it get a quote from, is so high is beyond me. Twenty years ago the insurance was $400 a year, now it is $4k a year. Why? Insurance is a scam, like all other major corporations and Big Pharma, Big this and Big that. Hopefully, that will soon be over.

Driving and ownership
This is one seriously fun car to drive, has some good power for its size and its easy to take care of and maintain. It would be nice to find parts for it a little easier though.
Great SUV
I love this car. This is the first SUV I've owned and before this I only drove BMWs. The room is great and the only thing I am changing is the exterior so it is custom to my liking.
Love it
I'm 15 and this is my first vehicle. Usually girls like myself want a small car, but I love the size. It's very comfortable and drives very well.
The Best S-10 Ever
I have the best s-10 ever
Good when taken care of!
I purchased this truck for $1000. It gave me very little trouble. (uv joints, some sensors) I recently had to pull the engine when it reached 229,814 miles. Yes that's the correct mileage. I went with a 1999-2000 model engine because they are factory with 240hp and that's great for when I pull my boat or my tools. This is a very well rounded truck/SUV. GM got this right so if you are looking for a good vehicle this is one of them!
'92 S10 Blazer
Bought it with 92000 miles on it, and not surprisingly had several fairly expensive repairs (totaling over $1500) over the next 40000 miles and three years. Fuel pump, starter, coolant pump, alternator, and oil filter adapter leak were some of them. Fun car to drive, great in the snow and exploring old logging roads as well as on the highway. Biggest negative: If engine stalls while slowing for a stop, brakes and steering don't function; it took me through intersections a couple of times. Excellent body, at 10 years old with 130K miles in Upstate NY, some rust but generally still very solid.
My Truck
I love my S10 Blazer. I bought it in 2002 with 76,000 miles and now has 250,000. Never fails to start even when -20+ degrees. It has plenty of power(4.3L TBI) and gets decent gas mileage 18mpg city 24mpg highway. It has typical Chevy rust as it is 18 yrs. old. The only thing I am not happy with is the electronic 4WD. vac.actuator switch went out and got fluid in vac.actuator. We manually pull cable to engage front Diff. and still use button on dash. What helps is to use 4X4 all year round (use when driving;gravel, yard, field)this helps system lubricate parts.
Keeps going
Got my S-10 almost 11 yrs ago.....Planned on replacing it long ago, but it has'nt stopped running yet and has had very few major repairs (minus a couple of brake repairs and a water pump) A few minor cosmetic problems but all in all a suprisingly solid car for me considering my modest service schedule for it.
OK for the 80000 I have put on.
I bought this in Feb of '95 with 80,000 miles on it. It now has 156,231 on it and nto very many problems at all. Window motors, and rear defog went bad, but otherwise been very dependable. The body is gettin rusty of course (ever see an older s-10 w/o?) This has been a very nice surprise for me. And I plan on drivin it to work and hunting for another 20K.
Love my S10 Blazer !!!
My S10 Blazer is my first 'truck'. I am 100% happy with it. The Chevy Blazer has the most power in its class. Unlike most of the under- powered SUVs on the road these days, the Blazer gets good gas mileage at 19 mpg highway. The beefy 4.3L V6 provides plenty of power for pulling.
S10 Blazer is a good SUV.
I have enjoyed my 1992 S10 Blazer for 5 years now. I bought it used from a dealership and it had been kept in superior condition by the former owner. I can depend on my truck for reliable cold starts and great passing acceleration. I bought the truck at 75,000 miles, with a new starter, and had to replace the A/C and engine at 118,000 miles. Since then there have been no major problems. I am now at 165,000 miles. As long as the car stays lubed and tuned it runs great. I have driven it very long distances without stopping for anything but gasoline many times and have yet to have a problem. I don't foresee ever getting rid of my truck. Good luck with yours.
Ups and Downs
Got at 119k, now at 185k. When it runs, it runs well. But had many things break at the wrong time. Replaced starter many times. 4x4 encoder motor exspenive to fix ($400 just for the part) on push-button version. Looks good, though, as previous owner added running boards which protected rocker area, thus not as much rust as others I've seen.
Overall Good Truck.. Until it Rusts Out.
I've had my S10 Blazer Sport since 1998. I used to use it as my main vehicle. It was fine and never let me down! The push button 4WD has always worked flawlessly and got me through these rough RI winters! After I got an Accord as my main car, I put a plow on the truck and used it in the winter. It has a lot of power and mobility for perfect plowing. Now after 225,000 miles the engine is still purring perfectly but the body is just rusting out like you wouldn't believe! Although, bondo and new paint did come in handy. I'm thinking of swapping the engine into a newer chassis. The fuel economy is decent and the interior quality is OK, but after all these years, its getting a little ratty.
nice inexpensive suv
I have had no major problems with my truck and have over 170,000. miles on it. It always gets me were I need to go and has outstanding 4+4 capabilities.
Everything still works
Classic little old lady scenario, 1992 S10 Blazer 4X4 with 60K in 2014. The version with everything, and a powerful vortec V6. All the little doodads still work. One electric mirror with one axis not working. Passenger electric window will go down, but not up. I've got 90K on it now, and am slowly going to upgrade it custom. Put LED lights in front and sporty tail lights. Going to paint in matte black, and see if I can get the engine to breath a little better. Great find, I can drive it everyday.

Here comes the family truckster
Had it since 03 2 motors 2 trannys ,wouldn't trade it for nothing. It has 438000 on it, never been stuck, I'm a hunter in oregon and that says alot.
blazers rule
blazers are the best suv ever. i reccomend all buyers to get a blazer.
1993 s10 Blaza
I got mine from a friend with almost 200,000 miles on it and it still runs really good for me. that's pretty impressive. Also it is cool to drive.
Needs Parts!!!
This vehicle was bought with 35,000 miles on it in 94. It now has 105,000 and is running some how? It has been through one 4.3 engine even before my family got a hold of it (apparently it had some sort of rattle). Since I have had it I have had more than 3 recalls on the ABS system, a new brake booster, master cylinder, a/c blower, water pump, EGR valve, A/c compressor, radiator hoses, serpentine belt, a new transmission (automatic), belt tensioner and a few other problems. It really doesn't like to pull well out of sand. The shocks are gone and the ride is not to good.
The Best S-10 Ever
I have the best s-10 ever
Best car I have ever owned
I have owned this car for almost 11 years and I can only say is the most reliable car I have ever had. I never owned a car more than 5 years
93' S-10 Blazer with Vortec
I bought this truck back in August of 02 and it seems to be alright, but has some problems. I've had to change the EGR valve (over $200) because I got stranded a few times, though easy to fix. It just rolled the 200,000 mile mark and the motor is getting tired, but has good take off. Just recently had to replace the ICM (Ignition Control Module). Overall I love offroading in this truck and the 4WD has great traction. Very cool to drive.
Fun SUV
I've owned many trucks and my Blazer is by far the best. I have a little over 207,000 miles on it, and I've only had minor problems. It has more get up and go than most cars today. The 4wd gets used regularly. I can keep up with almost any other truck. I can honestly say as much as I abuse my truck, no other truck I've had holds up as well as my blazer. Its my daily driver as well as my toy. It's not uncommon for me to drive 1500 miles a week or more. I would really love to get another one. I love my truck.
S10 Blazers stink, but you can buy mine.
Nice first vehicle for me, should have went with a 96 Dodge Ram that I saw for the same price as this was. I payed $5000 for it, it had 111,000 miles at the time. It ran great the first year, I only put 4,000 miles on it, and it threw a rod!!! Piece of crap! Other then that I had little trouble with it, the gas mileage isn't too good, only 13 miles to the gal. :P The exterior and interior are about regular in quality for the year, strong parts, I never broke anything.
I love it
Great truck. Awesome 4 wheel drive. Pretty fast for an SUV. A little gas hungry. Overall it's awesome
BLAZINBEAST
bought this bub for 500 bones, shes got 226 k miles and she still gets it, best truck for the price, allways fires up, neva leaves me hangin yo, she da bomb, i <3 this truck.
DONT GET THIS CAR!
NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. had problems with ignition, Instrument cluster and too many problems to name, problems have ended up costing me almost as much as the car in the short two years of ownership.
