Nice Equinox
I just bought my car the other day and love it! It has approx 37000 miles on it and no service record of anything going wrong like I read in other reviews of this model. I test drove several other vehicles but came back to the Equinox because it drove really nice and was comfortable to sit in (I'm 5'11"). I plan to keep this one for years to come, so hopefully no major issues.
From Dodge To Chevy
First off, I've only had the vehicle for two weeks. I want to get the reminder emails to update this review since I use Edmunds as a resource when I care shop. We chose the Equinox based on our price range ($15,750), MPG (averaging 31), SUV, and the engine we wanted in a compact SUV (4 Cyl Turbo). I test drove a total of three Equinox's, posts about compact SUV's needing to have a turbo if it's a 4 cyclinder is somewhat right, it probably depends what you are used to. I previous had a 4 cyl so I was used to the "power" and the newer 4 cyl have improved overtime. I did go with the turbo since there were so many posted about. Currently, my only complaint about the vehicle is the turbo sounds a little weird. I've never had a turbo charged engine before, it could just be normal sounding. I've talked to my father in law and he said that turbos can sound different depending on what fuel is used so I'll be trying that out at some point to include in my next post. Anyway, the positives for me rank in reliability, durability, and longevity. We got this Equinox at 59900 miles. I'm looking forward to reporting back and giving good feedback overtime. UPDATE: I've now had my used 2019 Chevy Equinox for a year. I got it at just under 60,000 Miles on it, currently has about 75,000 on it now. It's ran very well and I haven't had to take it in for any type of issues. It seems like the oil change is due closer to the 5,000K than it is for 7,500K based on the usual 5000-7500 miles for synthetic oils. It could be from the way I drive; however, I've been told I drive like a grandma. Since I've had it, the air compressor makes a funny noise when I have the A/C on. I don't know much about the A/C system but I'm willing to bet it's got an issue that needs addressed. Other than the noise, there are no performance issues. Only having 75,000 miles on it, maybe the previous owner abused the A/C? Tire wear seems average (haven't had to change them yet), fluid levels have been consistent, topping them off during an oil change. If it matters to you, chagning the oil yourself on it is easy, no jack or stands needed. Other than that, it gets the job done; I get from point A to point B safely (and reliably)!

Great Vehicle
Out of all the vehicles I've driven and owned from several car brands in the past - may it be American, Japanese, German, British or Korean - only two of them made me feel like I was one with the car. I've found the third one in my Equinox. I feel so confident and comfortable driving my Equinox. It drives and functions as I need it to be with great ease. I love driving this vehicle.
