Fuel Pump -- Bad MPG

Purchased in December, 2010. At 3,500 miles, the fuel pump went out putting fuel into the oil. Currently waiting for the repair. Because this is a new vehicle, the pump will not arrive at dealership for 3 to 5 days to be completed. Never got over 21 mpg even though it said we should have 32 mpg.

I bought a 2011 equinox 2.4 about 5 months ago, it had 154k miles on it and 5 weeks later the transmission blew and costed 2 grand to get fixed and around a couple months after that the timing chain snapped and it bent a valve in the motor which costed $5,000 to get fixed with a brand new motor from Chevrolet and only 1000 miles later it’s burning oil and idling rough. But not only is it unreliable but nobody in my family can get the seats comfortable. So to say the least we will be trading it in soon and never getting another Equinox.

compre un chevy equinox del 2011 y desde el comienso me ha dado problemas de todo tipo alineacion ,las gomas , LA TRANSMISION, el aire acondicionado , todo eso sin contar que en realidad no recorre las millas que dice el consecionario se queda a lo mas en 25 millas por galon no vuelvo a comprar un auto a GMC es lo peor que pude haber comprado . muchos problemas que solucionar y pocas respuestas del consecionario mi calificacion es cero no recomiendo este auto a nadie y menos a familias con niños

Considering my last car was a VW Jetta, the Equinox feels like I am driving an aircraft carrier! I love this car (well, actually, it's a truck/crossover). The interior space is expansive and the seats are super comfortable for both driver, passenger, and folks in the back seat. The ride is soft does a decent job absorbing bumps in the road. The back seat adjusts so you can have extra cargo space or extra leg room in the back.
