Used 2010 Chevrolet Equinox Consumer Reviews
Check it out
If your looking at the CR V you should check into the 2010 Equinox. Would never consider a GM before but this car changes that. Brought a LT no Navi, 6 cylinder. Im really happy with my purchase it handles well the interior is excellent and looks great
GM Finally Has Beaten The Imports
I recently bought an 2010 Equinox LS. I drove every import SUV/Crossover you can think of. None had the room, the gas mileage, the quiet interior or the styling of the 2010 Equinox. The RAV4 was too cramped in the drives seat. The CR-V is slightly more roomy but not nearly as good as the 2010 'Nox. Neither was as quiet. The standard features and quality of materials are excellent on the 'Nox. Test drive one before you buy something else. The mileage is for real, 22.3MPG city and 31.8MPG highway.

So far so good
I love my equinox. I was looking at a 2009, but hated that they got the same gas mileage as the Traverse...so I started looking at a Traverse. It was too rich for my blood. Then the 2010 NOX ad looked nice with a much improved MPG...took my wife on a whim just to look at one...both loved the improvements and lower price and left with a new Chevy.
Has to be best in class
I bought a Equinox 1LT AWD with the available 3.0L DI V6 engine, it was hard to find for under 29K, but I found one. I have to say, right when I saw the 'Nox, I fell in love with the design. The interior impressed me even more, love the dual cockpit design. Ive had it a few weeks, and no problems to list. Very easy to drive. Also, if your going to be buying a Equinox with AWD, I do suggest getting the V6 as well. The 4-cylinder is ok, but I needed the extra power of the V6, that's subjective to how much power you want.
Problems with navigation and radio . . .
My 2010 Equinox included a navigation system which was perfect since I use a nav everyday in my business. The best feature for me was that it allowed me to punch in and save several addresses at the beginning of my trip then just hit the new destination when I was ready. Well so much for that. It now: 1. takes several miles before it even recognizes where I am 2. no longer saves a new destination 3. the compass style select button works intermittently 4. The radio volume and the station save work intermittently! The local dealer says it can't be fixed and it will cost thousands to replace. VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least!
