POS
My wife has had her Cruze for 3 years now. We got it used with 50k on it. At first we loved the car but now it has become the worst car we have ever had. First we had to put a new coil pack on it then the intake manifold broke. Then we had to replace the pvc valve and valve cover. Then another coil pack and now the intake manifold has broke again at 105k. Nothing but a money pit. I have always owned GM cars but I have been really let down with this one. I would not recommend this [non-permissible content removed] to anyone.

Transmission issue & More
I bought my car brand new in May 2013. Within a couple of months I was experiencing the car lunging forward while at a stop, loss of power, and loss of acceleration. MPG has also been significantly impacted. I was originally getting 36-42 mpg highway, and now get 28-30mpg. I took the car in several times and had ALL recalls performed on the vehicle, including the transmission part. "Fixing" the transmission made it worse, to the point where when driving it would feel as if we were constantly being rear-ended, hard. Final in Oct/Nov 2015 ( I can't recall now), GM agreed to totally replace the transmission with a new one (not used). Guess what, this didn't solve the issue and I'm to the point where I physically can no longer drive the car due to the pain caused by the constant surging and jerking the car makes. Getting rid of the car is not an option since the Cruze has flooded the resale market (thanks to Cruze's being rental cars), as my car is approx. $5-6k under water. I contacted Chevrolet directly to resolve the matter and they advised me that they are unable to help, and to work directly with the Dealership. The Dealership can't fix it, so now I'm stuck paying for a car that can't be driven.

Worth Every Penny
I have 10,126 miles on my Cruze, the car has the RS package and is a 1LT. My avg fuel economy with a mix of driving is 41-43 mpg. My lowest tank yet to date is 38.5 mpg with no highway driving. My best tank ever has been 46 mpg and that was all freeway at 65 mph.
Love the Cruze
This is my first car review EVER. Just purchased the cruze and I love it! I test drove the 2013 Honda Accord and 2013 Nissan Altima. Unfortunately these were going for a pretty penny and the Chevy Staff really wanted to offload the 2012 models. As a result, I was able to pick up the 2LT model for 4,000 under MSRP. The car is well built, fun to drive, and excellent on fuel economy. I am very happy with my choice!
Biggest POS I've ever owned
I bought the car 1 owner 25k miles back in 2014. By the time I made it to 80k miles the turbo went out, the ac went out, it was over heating, the car would jump when sitting at a stop. Everytime I put antifreeze in the car it would be gone the next day like it was evaporating bc there were no leaks. The dumb thing almost killed me one day all of a sudden it would just shut off in mid turn I almost ended up in a tree. Needless to say I bought the car a year old 4% interest and got stuck with a 21k price tag. After all the issues and still owing almost 11k I had to let it go back. The blue book is WAY lower then 11k and it was going to cost me a arm and a leg to fix all the damn issues. This car really has me wanting to stay away from Chevy FOR GOOD!
