World Class caliber let down by GM quality...
I have a 2021 C8 3LT convertible. Performance, handling, and ride quality is amazing. Styling is head-turning and overall value is terrific. It just about does everything a Ferrari or Lambo can do for less than half the price. However, it's let down by GM's infamous quality control issues. On my car in particular, the leather on the upper part of the dash is warping. From what I hear, GM doesn't have a real fix for this except to replace the whole dash. But even that won't guarantee it won't happen again. I also hear this happens on many 3LT models with the leather dash. even on brand new '23 models! This is simply unacceptable. Such a shame that a world-class caliber sports car like the C8 is let down by GM's QC issues.
Delivered as Promised
I have always wanted to get a Vette, but never did. I actually ordered a C7, but backed out because dealer could not give me what I wanted for my trade in. That was before the mid-engine C8 came out. Glad I didn’t get the C7. I was on a list for approximately 18 months. I finally got my car recently and it was worth the wait. The car is fantastic. Chevy really delivered what they promised with this version. The car is worth every penny they charge for it. I was concerned about two areas specifically. Getting in and out and driving comfort. I’m not going to say it is a breeze entering and exiting the car, but it’s not that bad. Driving it makes up for any “inconvenience.” As far as driving comfort, it is better than expected. My wife, who wasn’t convinced I should even buy it, admitted she was pleasantly surprised. That’s saying something. The exterior styling is phenomenal. I ordered the Red Mist Tincoat Metallic and I can honestly say people are getting whiplash as I drive by. Most of my friends can only say OMG. The interior dispels any thoughts of it not being high quality. GM really got it right. They also did a great job with the technology. It is pretty user friendly. Plus you can customize how the car handles with the multiple choices available. Bottom line for me is it is the best car I’ve ever had. It was worth the wait.

Does it Get Any Better than This
I am a life long vette owner and while I have seen it continuously improve over the years, I never expected it could be this good. Speechless!

Best Corvette Ever!!
I have owned a C4 Corvette since 1990. I wanted to upgrade to a convertible and I was waiting for the C8. I was able to spend some real quality time behind the wheel (16 hours). The pictures make it look like there isn't a lot of interior room and I was worried about getting in and out (I'm 55). This car was beyond great. First the ride was smooth, it felt like my challenger more than any corvette that I have ever driven. Power was there but more important the backend didn't break out when stepping on it. I only had experienced wheel spin once romping on it hard. There was plenty of interior room and it wasn't hard to get in and out. Easier than my C4. The stereo was excellent. The only complaint is backing out of parking spaces. You are blind for a minute or two but the rear view mirror camera really helps out. The convertible is really nice. I had the top down as much as possible. I really liked the fact that I could slow to 30 and then bring it up (or down). Top down side glass up, rear glass down and ac on, traveling at highway speeds was really enjoyable.

Oh, YES!
1977, should have been the C-0, Not worth the gas it burned, 2009 C-6 3LT brought me back to the Corvette fold from Camero/Mustang group. 2022 3LT, Z-51 convertible, Best of the BEST. Bought used with 900 miles on it. MSRP $97500, $124990 lot price. Out the door at $95000 plus C-6 trade in.

Long time coming
I waited 10 months to get my corvette but it was well worth the wait. After 10 other ones this is by far the best. The looks, the handling, and the whole package are great. Very fast yet very comfortable. Definitely a home run for Vette lovers !
Fantastic value but still a GM product
For $90k the exterior panels should align, there should be radiator protective screens, using Alexa shouldn’t blank the info screen requiring shutting off the car to fix and there should be adaptive cruise. Could also use map pockets on center hump. But to get 27 mpg doing 80 mph is pretty impressive for 495 hp engine even if it does run rough at idle. Easy to drive long distances.

Great car
Got my C8 after 10 months wait. Love the style, the ride, and the stereo system. Wish the car had more cameras and driver assisted system. Visibility is poor, thus limiting how fast I drive. Air vents are small thus the flow speed is high and noisy. Aerodynamic is the best of any cars I ever drive. I barely hear any wind noise while driving. Get in and out is hard, but expected. Tremendous value, look and feel a lot more expensive than the sticker price. Buying experience was great at Rick Hendrick with Justin Cohen. I feel like GM and the dealer treated me like a value customer, not like Porsche that see their customers as ATM machines. Expect great fun, reliability and resale value.

Not what you expect from a 100k car!
1 year old 3k miles and they had to replace the transmission already. Not happy with the car anymore. I lost trust and joy for it.

You get what you've paid for!
American made Super cars is not like any other super cars. CHEAP materials! I own a 3lt Spyder c8. Back up rear camera got fried by the Texas Sun, the dashboard is warping, the seats don't cool, the stereo froze some time! Ordering parts an take up to 6 months!

Life in the fast lane!
Still in love with my Corvette! This car is everything it was reported to be. It is flashy, quick, agile, and a totally fun vehicle to drive, especially with the top down. There is a little under steer when putting the car through its paces, but nothing too outrageous. The cockpit is well appointed with nice details. The car was well worth the money spent ($106,000+ out the showroom door).

Best Corvette Yet!!
I have previously owned C3, C4, C5, C6 Corvettes, and C7 Corvettes, but this C8 is the best all around Corvette by far. It is of course very quick, but also comfortable, has lots of storage with the trunk in the rear, and the frunk up front. It is easy to use as I do, as a daily driver. I have always loved convertibles with the top down, but never how they looked with the rag top up. The C8 takes care of that by being a hardtop convertible, so it looks just as good with the top up or down--with just the touch of a button. The top is fully automatic, with no levers to pull or latch to active the top, just push one button, and it does the rest. My Stingray is well optioned with 3LT, Z51, Front Lift, Mag Ride, and the Carbon Flash Package. It also has the Competition Seats, which so far are the only things I don't love. I am 6'2", and weigh 225, so my butt and back fit great, but my thighs are a little too tight, which gets old on long drives. The car only has 5k miles on it, so I hope they will loosen up as they break in, or I might be looking for some jet black GT2 seats to swap in. Other than that, I completely love this car, and I wouldn't change a thing!!

Spirited Daily Driver and Grand Touring Machine
The C8 hardtop convertible with 3LT trim and Magnetic Ride Control is by far the most versatile sports car that I've ever owned. The ability to configure the car to your mood is a big plus as everything is customizable from the steering and brake feel, transmission shifting aggressiveness, suspension stiffness, and even the sound of the exhaust. The dual-clutch transmission works great in "automatic" mode, but put it in "manual" and use the paddle shifters and you can play your own soundtrack up and down the rev scale. I usually drive in Sport Mode which is a good blend of responsiveness and comfort, but when I hit a long cruising stretch of freeway Tour Mode tames the beast by quieting the exhaust, softening the ride, and eliminating any twitchiness to help make the miles fly by. I highly recommend the hardtop convertible (HTC) model as it is easy to put the top down and back up for those short jaunts around town running errands. Not only does the HTC encourage "going topless" as much as possible, it also doesn't lose any storage space whatsoever when the top is down so you can pack for a road trip and have the option of top up or down at any time. And because of its slippery shape and Active Fuel Management, cruising either on the freeway at speed or on secondary roads at touring pace yields about 26 MPG. The top trim level 3LT is very nice and makes the cockpit feel much more luxurious than the price tag would suggest. This is my first Corvette and I don't see myself going back to any of the European or other foreign sports cars anytime soon... this C8 is that good!

lacking acceleration kick
Beautiful car, handles great, love the steering wheel, but acceleration feels slow compared to driving a Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Audi RS's, BMW M class... It can be due to non turbo, however take the Ferrari 360F1 which has no turbo neither, there's a huge difference vs the C8 - you simply don't feel the kick in the acceleration in the C8 vs other high performance cars. But the beauty and the lines of the car is very close to Ferrari and Lambo, however if you looking for that thrill performance wise, you don't get it in the C8. To me it seems nearly all the reviews given by others here on this site are ex Corvette owners and don't have much experience driving European sport cars.

Corvette test drive
It was a smooth ride with a strong cornering response and acceleration. Competition seats on the 3LT are great for high speed cornering (I’ve heard) but not that comfortable on a daily basis
Bad ass C8
Very satisfied with my 2021 C8. Car is amazingly exceptional! Parts are expensive and accessories. But that's to be expected for these crazy times! Keep up the good woik!

Good looks AND fun!
This C8 is my daily driver in Colorado Springs. My daily commute is a mix of downtown and highway driving and the C8 does not disappoint in any driving profile. The engine over the rear axle puts the HP to the ground and the handling is much more fun than previous front-engine designs even at slower speeds. I've had it for 18 months now without a single issue, and have driven it in all weather conditions. My 3rd, and most favorite Corvette to date!

Nothing like it................
I have had a lot of amazing cars in my life, but nothing like this. Dollar for dollar it is undoubtedly the best value on the planet. When I would start up my Shelby Cobra it would say "Today, I might kill you." When I start the Corvette it says "No matter how hard you drive you will never be able to exceed what I can do, I'll never kill you."

Best of previous 8 Corvettes
Most comfortable ride (in tour mode. Perfect secure convertible top movement. Incredible performance, best stereo. Of previous 4 and 6 speed standard transmission cars, this 8 speed automatic is just as much fun!

Our Amazing C8 Vet
Love our 2022 Corvette Stingray best sports car to drive, would of liked a choice of a standard shift, but the hand paddles work fine. In tour mode you feel like your not in a sports car wonderful ride. So much fun to drive in sport mode. I can’t say how much I luv this car wonderful thought out sports car. Interior is fabulous.

My Corvette LT2, C8 with Z51 package was an amazing car. Workmanship was excellent, performance was excellent, a gentleman’s sports car. I traded it in on what I hope will be an even better high performance sports car: a Z06.
