sad
well i have had this truck 6 months its been it the shop 7 times a/c control head, vent door was sticking, headlights holding water, and then the motor blew up. dealership kept my truck 33days to replace a motor.
Colorado better than it looks but
Three months after I bought it iIwas in a wreck, saved my life, but since then the power windows motor has gone out in both windows, one after the other. The interior is bigger than it looks in regular cab. Runs great considering I drive it about 70 miles a day, could use better gas mileage though.
First year of the Colorado
Bought my Colorado the first year they came out with it. I find that it's easy to drive, reliable as heck. Thought that I wouldn't be able to take it off road but it's proved me wrong many times. I drive 48 miles to work one way and it's held up. I change the oil, tires and make sure not to buy cheap gas. I've even run E85 in it a couple of times when I've been in a pinch. Chevy made a great truck.
Colorado is a poor truck. Buy Toyota!
My 2004 Colorado has had trans leak. Front axle seal and front differential seal leaks. Front end eats tires. GM re-aligned after several calls to GM customer service, now a bad vibration has developed with no fix by GM. Replaced heater blower fan twice. Replaced speaker, cup holder, seat adjuster broken. Interior very cheap. Been in the shop about 14 times for diagnostics and repairs. Have to fight GM for them to fix anything. Poor truck. Will buy Toyota the next time!
