Used 2004 Chevrolet Colorado Regular Cab Consumer Reviews
Good little truck
These are a steal used. Has been trouble free for the 20000 miles I have owned it. 21.5 mpg around town 26-29 mpg on hwy. 2wd does fine in the snow. Seats could be more comfortable. No rattles in the interior. 2wd Z85 easy on tires, looks like I'll get another 20000 out of them. Handles great for a truck. More fun to drive than my 04 full size overpriced, gas guzzling Toyota that I traded in. Would buy another used one in a minute.
Colorado A+ Vehicle
I have driven mine 18,000 miles-many of which I have towed a 12 foot enclosed trailer, the truck gets decent mileage and has ample power. The 4wd works great and the ride is firm but not harsh. For my part I feel the engine is a little small, the truck is designed to compete in the midsize market--but the engine option 3.5 is a little small for my part, it doesn't have the towing ability of my 1996 S10 Blazer..

Interior looks a little on the cheap side lots of plastic. Vinyl trim around seat rails has some ugly gaps. i-5 power ok.
Good to Go
I have had this vehicle for a short time but have driven it everywhere. I like the shifting on the 5 speed and the power.
Wind Noise!
Very nice little truck to knock around town, but don't get it out on the highway over 60mph without ear plugs as it sounds like you were caught in a wind storm (outside standard cab noise) Dealer replaced windshield without much if any help. Local dealer admitted some have already traded in standard cab models because of the wind noise and said "I don't see how the engineers missed this" Brochure for LS model claims 6 radio speaker but I can find only 4.
