2017 Cadillac Ct6 on Vogues nightmares.

Hey guys, my first review ever but i had 2 share. I bought a 2017 cadillac ct6 used 34k on the dash. Drove it problem free for about 3 months. Then the noises started happening. Had 2 take it 4 times for them to finally fix some cover rattling on the catalytic converter. They said they welded it vs repairing it. Fixed that finally. Then the fuel injectors out. That left me stranded. The last straw was when thr car would jerk forward while in traffic. Traded it for the Mercedes S550. So far the best decision ive made as far as cars go. Loved Cadillacs had a Dts prior. Thanks for listening.

Not impressed with it

I currently drive a 2013 CTS and received a 2017 CT6 as a loaner car. Interior space is awful, I don't like the seat and I feel cramped inside. The roof is lower so my head is practically hitting the roof and I'm only 5'8. Overall, not impressed at all.

I bought a used Cadillac CT6 2017 on Dec 27th 2023; I have notice the slip or hard shift with the transmission. I will be taking it back to the dealer to get the car checked out Now the engine light is on, this car has less than 50,000 ml it shouldn't be a hard shift like this in this car.

Nimble large vehicle

GM (not just Cadillac) has a problem with its 8 speed transmissions up through 2018. Sometimes a flush with Mobil 1 (blue label) can take care of it. If not, then a replacement torque converter fixes the “shudder” problems. A spendy fix unless your powertrain warranty is still in effect. With its new torque converter our 2018 now runs like new again; with crisp handling, good response from the 3.6 liter engine and a very comfortable ride.
