An expensive ordeal

I bought my 2012 Verona brand new. At first I didn’t have any problems except my Hester fan stopped working about 9 months after I bought it, the problem was fixed under the warranty. In 2022 it was using a lot of oil even after each oil change, I could only get around 2000 miles before it was almost empty. A few months later it told me it was going into safety mode with no previous warning signs that anything was wrong. Fast forward to today after buying a new engine, battery, spark plugs and all fluids again, it’s performing really well. I had heard this engine was causing a lot of problems in all models that have it. When I was done, I’m out of about 6200 dollars but I have A car that’s paid for and in excellent condition with only 97248 miles on it. New engine has 0 miles on it. Praying it holds up a few more years. Wish me luck. They should do a recall for these problems.

This has been by far the quietest car I've ever owned. It handled well, decent gas mileage around town but better on the highway. I only had minor issues with it the time I owned it. The one problem it had was oil usage, it needed a quart of oil every tank full of gas. It also had no rust and everything still worked when I gave it to my son in 2020.

Disappointed

I was excited when I bought this car. I bought it used with around 80,000 miles on it. One thing I didn’t like was that the drivers side front seat heater had a short in it, and the dealer did not tell me about it. So, around $500 to have it fixed. 6 months after I bought it, it started throwing codes and shutting off. The code was the CAM position sensor. Several CAM position sensor replacements later, it is still throwing codes. I don’t think it’s worth your money. Cute car, but several problems with it.
