Used 2015 Buick Encore SUV Consumer Reviews
I would give the can negative stars if I could
What to say about this enormous waste of money. I hate this car I truly do. I got it when I was looking for a small SUV for my family. It seemed like a great choice. I always thought Buicks were well made cars but this one has soiled me on the brand forever. It has been one problem after another with this car. First the cooling system went out causing the car to over heat whenever you drive it, Then the turbo went out causing you to floor it and go no where, a fan fuse keeps going out causing the fan to stay on even when the key is removed and will run till the battery dies. Dome safety feature randomly triggered one day making it so the car wouldn't start with the key, and most recently and after fixing all of those other problems it now will shake like crazy and power off with the key still in it while at stop lights. So you have to put the car on park, and restart it. This is a unsafe and unreliable car. I don't trust it sitting in the pick up line at my sons school, and I don't trust it going to the grocery store. Please find a different small SUV this one is a hunk of junk.

Very poor engine reliability
Purchased this vehicle (2015 Encore) new in 2015. It is a secondary car that we do not use much. We now have about 49,500 miles on it and the engine is failing. Our Buick dealer said the engine will likely need to be replaced in the near future. Should have checked Consumer Reports earlier. CR gave the Encore its worst score for Major and Minor engine mechanical problems. Am trading it in for a new Prius. At least the Prius has had exceptional reliability for the last 7 model years.

Sharon's new ride.
interior is on the small size, back seat doors don't really open wide enough for easy in and out. Cargo space is very limited. Extending cargo is not convenient at all. You don't just fold down the seat backs you also have to flip down the seat bottoms...onto the floor therefore loosing the floor space. Too much effort in my opinion when most models just flip down the seat backs.
