Rattles and Bangs!
Purchased 2023 Encore GX Essence in Oct. 2022. Noticed squeaks, snapping and rattle noises on some old concrete streets and has gotten worse 6 months later. Didn't like paying 1500 for on star as included in sticker price and still waiting for the heated steering wheel to become operable. No problems as of yet, quiet on good roads, ride is very stiff/harsh on many of our Illionois highways. At this point I wish we had purchased another brand.

Not impressed
A review should only be given after driving this vehicle at least 4-6 months. I truly thought getting an upgrade would literally mean more features. I went from a 2016 to a 2023 no difference. Maybe the truck is quiet, great. The GPS system goes off and on as it wants in the 2023. If I choose to turn off the auto features the truck turns things back on as if its possessed. Why does the 2022 have auto reverse but the 2023 do not? I love buick. It has been my go to from the beginning. Just need you all to do better. Each year should get better.

FANTASTIC SUBCOMPACT SUV WITH SOME FLAIR
At first I was hesitant to buy the Buick Encore GX because of the size of the engine, a 1.3L 3-cylinder engine. Boy was I surprised at how well it gets up and goes. Ride is great. A semi-firm suspension that rides well on rougher roads. Love the AWD and 9-speed transmission. Interior is fantastic, very upscale from a Chevy, but not quite as nice as a Cadillac. Just a couple of items that Buick could have done better on. Radio is of poor quality for a semi-luxury brand. The standard halogen lamps are out of date, but yet Buick still insists on using them. Added a much-needed amp, speakers, and sub. Halogen headlamps changed to LEDs. Finished up the touches that Buick couldn't figure out. I fully intend on keeping this SUV for many years to come.
