Luxury at an affordable price

I bought my Enclave two years ago. It is a treat to drive it. I have bone cancer so I need a car that is smooth and absorbs the bumps of our rural roads. This car goes a long way toward that need. It feels luxurious and the standard speaker and xm satellite radio are excellent. As for performance, it is not exactly a muscle car. But the V6 is plenty adequate and has enough power to do what you need to as far as merging into interstate highways and passing big trucks and such. The size of the big Buick keeps me from feeling so intimidated when tailgated by large vehicles. Another nice feature is the quietness of the cabin. It has extra sound insulation and double laminated windows. She is just so smooth and pleasant to drive. On the down side, the car is a little thirsty at the pumps. In town I get about 18 mpg and a little better on the road. (It's still worth it to me). Two more complaints are the sometime difficult dashboard controls. And the lack of a Navigation screen, although it does have access to some On Star features. The driver seat is fairly comfortable and has lumbar and other adjustments. The captains chairs in the middle back could be a bit wider for obese passengers. The third row seats are surprisingly decent and medium sized adults will find the sufficient and comfortable enough. Overall I think it is a good quality vehicle which always gives me a more pleasant experience behind the wheel than other large cars I have owned. No it isn't perfect and it is the base front drive Enclave but a very nice ride for someone such as myself or for someone needing a lot of luggage and cargo room.

The Buick Enclave is all we expected in our first SUV. Comfortable ride, roomy and easy to drive.
