Hot, big, powerful, fun car
This is my second BMW 750i. The previous model was a 2015 and my current model is a 2018 with the M design package. All black exterior with zero chrome and brown interior - what's not to like! Both cars have been completely reliable and the local dealer's service is outstanding. This seems to be the general culture of BMW dealers. I also have a 2017 Range Rover and I sometimes have to wait for weeks for a service appointment and the cost of servicing that car is horrendous. So far as my Beemer is concerned - Pros: fantastic power from the V8 twin turbo engine. The handling has various settings. I have seen reviews where it is mentioned that the car lacks the road feel of the older models. The answer to this is to switch to Sports Mode and the ride becomes harder and the car feels like it is rocket-powered. What more would you need in a large, superbly appointed sedan? Cons: I can't really think of any, although my wife complains that the front should have more cubby holes and storage. My 2015 car had the regular wheelbase and the 2018 is the long one. There is so much space in the back that guests and friends often mention that they feel they are traveling in a limo. The front also has plenty of space and comfort and the material quality is outstanding. The car has tons of user technology, but after the first couple of weeks, I really only use the basics - climate, comfort/sport settings and audio. My 2015 model had electric blinds on the rear and rear-side windows, which were outstanding for here in S. Florida. My current model only has the rear blind and I feel that for this kind of money, the sides should be standard too. I will probably go for another 750i next time, but will also check out the Mercedes S Class, like I did last time.

Wow, what a car. Still wowed by this car
I imagine this must be about as close to flying a jet as I'll come. Fast, comfortable, steady, remarkable handling, quiet, luxurious. Hard to find anything to quibble about. Yes, expensive, and you feel as though it's worth it. The new styling gets a lot of head turns and comments how great the car looks.

Outstanding Ride and Petformance
Test drove the M550. Loved it. Then I saw this reasonably loaded Black Saphire 750i with M Pack. When I test drove it I was sold, the ride, room and performance were staggering. For such a big car she didn’t feel much bigger than the 5 series. The M550 clearly was the better performance vehicle, but I live in South Florida where the most exciting road is the off ramp of the I75. The 7 series with the improved fit and finish, reduced noise levels and a huge price reduction made it just a $150 a month more than the well equipped M550. It’s too soon to comment on reliability, but I have had many BMW’s over the years and only one I would consider unreliable. Expecting miles of serene highway cruising, with a significant and effortless shove in the back when needed. Outstanding vented and massaging seats and some very clever driver safety aids.

Wow just wow!
So much advance technology and over engineered. Just never ceases to amaze. The smooth instant power the ride and comfort. 95 is the vehicle s sweet spot. Drove 300 miles ave 86 mph and got 26pg!? Dam BMW makes a car so fun to drive you never want to fly again. Wontt ever go back to MB.

Best 740 yet
I test drove this 740i with M style package last June and that was it,Bye bye to my 2017 740i. The new version's six cylinder engine had far more kick than its predecessor and that sport mode was amazing as this 740 has beautiful balance similar to a 5 series The self drive mode on curves and the highway is unbelievable and takes time to trust but when in effect makes steering virtually effortless. The biggest drawback is that car is reluctant to change lanes and needs extra effort to switch lanes.Because of that my wife easily turns off that mode. The interior is roomer in the rear seat than the 2017.The computer package also has an upgrade and you need a tutorial to handle all of the auto audio and operating options. After 8 months the love affair continues! Well done BMW!

Great lease deals
I leased the car after the dealer took $20,000 off the sticker ! Maintenance all covered. No money down and great 24 month lease. More comfortable and better performing than I had even imagined. 26.8 mpg on the highway ! REALLY.

Wonderful ride but at too high a cost
Bought a 2019 740i in January 2022 from the BMW dealer. It runs really well, supremely comfortable, good fuel economy. I did make a few more trips to the dealer than I was expecting to though due to various electronic issues, but as i bought the extra two years warranty it was not a financial burden. Recently the car let me down in a very busy area where the sensors to detect obstacles went nuts and I was stuck obstructing traffic. I loved this car but have traded it in for a Lexus (at a major depreciation expense) as I want my car to be problem free
Awesome driving experience
My first BMW. went for the 7 series. traded a S550 which I had for 10 years. I am delighted that I chose BMW. The car is simply awesome and it has so much to offer I am still learning. The ride is smooth, quiet, comfortable and safe. A driving experience one should try out just to see what a "real" luxury car feels like.
Excellent, yet not as flashy
My 2019 750i is my 3rd 7-series and my husband drives an S550 Benz convertible. We often compare which of the two luxury cruiser we’ll drive, but for long distances, we prefer our BMW. It is as luxurious but without being noticed. The 750i drives like a sports sedan, but still enjoy the luxury interior and the technology is top notch. I personally like the dynamic cruise control and the moonroof with choices or colors great for night driving. The power too reminds me our 2004 Bentley V12 coupe…

Powerful land yacht
I’ve had mine for four months now. Very powerful engine! Nice quiet ride in comfort mode. A thrill to drive in sport mode. A lot of technology loaded in this car, some have questionable value like gesture control. Very spacious interior.

Bavarian Awesomeness!
Purchased a 2021 750i xdrive sedan with 21k miles in April 2023 under BMW CPO program for $67k - over $50k down from original msrp. My only mistake was not buying a used 7 series years ago. 500+ hp that gets 26mpg on 700 mile road trip with cruise set at 80mph while carrying 4 and luggage in complete comfort and luxury. The massage seats make road trips fantastic - arrive refreshed and not worn out. The cpo program is great insurance and we have only had normal maintenace costs. As other reviewers said: best luxury value for the money in used car out there.
Sporty big car. Love it

My 4th and probably last 7 series
No other car in my life has evoked so much emotion in me. This is my fourth 7 and first 760. I absolutely love this car and I will keep it as long as possible because I sadly very much dislike the new 7. The last M760 is a monster. The V12 is so smooth and has such a wonderful throttle response. I cannot believe how fast this large heavy sedan is. And the luxury and comfort in the rear executive lounge is even better than the current model. It’s so luxurious and fun to drive, constantly making me smirk when I’m at the wheel. Yes BMW makes sportier cars, but they never made a car that combines sport and luxury better than the M760i XDrive

Basic Executive Sedan
7 Series is getting old and needs a mid-life facelift to refresh the aging looks. The main rival Mercedes S Class interior and fit and finish is superior to the 7 Series. Besides the leg room in the rear, the 7 series does not look any different or offer much more than the 5 series, yet you pay much much more. The exterior design needs a refresh as the rear of the car looks very bland and not as imposing or luxurious as the previous model since the introduction and time is not helping it. I love the fully adaptive LED headlights on the car but in order to take advantage of the full affect, you need to code the car as the car comes decoded from Europe. A car in this class needs to offer the newest technology available, such as laser lights. The navigation is not very accurate in some areas and the real time traffic does not work perfectly. Hand gesture control is just a gimmick that you won't think about after you initially try it once or twice. You need to get the massaging front seats to fully feel the luxury in this car. It is very quiet and handling is very good. The run-flat tires makes the suspension feel harder than it is on bad road surfaces. Big and useable trunk. Not too many color choices outside or inside.

Awesome
Great car. Acceleration is quick and drive is nimble. I have had zero problem and except for routine oil change once a year, the car gives me no cause to worry.

Wonderful Car
Update to my earlier review…… I’ve had the 2020 for almost a year and a half and have taken the time to really get to know the car. I am truly impressed with the technology, the overall handling, the driver aids, etc…. What impresses me greatly is that I’m averaging between 28 - 31 miles per gallon during highway driving. Most of the miles I’ve put on the car have been highway driving, so these numbers have been validated! Superbly comfortable car, very happy.

Best car ever!
I love the design, power, quality and interior room of the vehicle. The750i runs circles around my previous Lexus LS.. The quality control for my 2021 is outstanding compared with the other two BMW's owned.

Great car on our Pacific Coast Highway Trip
Rented a 740i X-drive for our PCH roadtrip. The smooth ride, comfortable seats, solid handling and adequate power from the V6 was great. The heads-up nav display was handy at times. The large trunk was good for making sure all our personal items could be stowed away out of sight. The shifter was perhaps my biggest complaint, as it has the parking button on top, while the button required to initiate a gearshift was on the left side.... definitely frustrating at first as gripping the shifter firmly can result in inadvertently pressing the parking button while you are trying to change directions, resulting in the car not shifting into drive, but remaining in park. Overall, it was a great car for a 10 day road trip though.

The Ultimate Ride/Beautiful Car
The BMW 750i is powerful and handles very nicely, not to mention it is one beautiful car. No other like it on the road so this car stands out every where I go. I enjoy driving this car every time I get in it, some times I just want to hop in the car and just drive. **Update, I traded the 750i for the X7 M60i, I really enjoyed the 750i but the X7 is a better fit for me. I still recommend the 750i was a beautiful car and an incredible drive. I miss it too ;(
