You just have to drive this car to understand why people just gush about BMW's. Nobody does it like BMW. This is my second 3 Series, and I'm just as blown away this time. This car is just a pleasure to drive. It handles perfectly, it has adequate power, it's comfortable, and it is just flat solid as a rock. It's put together that well. No wonder the 3 Series continues to lead the sports sedan segment!

I bought my car used with 5k miles, it now has almost 9k, no problems whatsoever. It is base model, so options limited. Reminds me of the older BMWs and ALFAs of the 60s & 70s. Handling is superb (I've previously competitively raced ALFAs). Although engine power is slightly less than some competitors, the broad powerband and sound of the engine is a sweet blessing. I've got the auto, would have bought 5 speed but price was right on steptronic, and the tranny really works with the engine to deliver the best ratios for whatever driving you do. Not worth the money for the extras or the 330i, you'll be happy with the base 325i if you're an enthusiast! Happy Motoring to all....

I test drove Lexus, Infiniti, VW, Nissan, and Mazda before making my decision, and the BMW 325 was by FAR the absolute best performer of all! It is the tightest, most stable car I have ever driven! It corners like its on rails, and the big Inline 6 has a ton of torque! Test drive one and you will see! I HIGHLY recommend you get the sport package as well, as it makes a big difference.

Ordered a 2003 in Jan then changed my order to the 2004 model as soon as they were announced. Took a few extra months (did euro delivery) but I am so glad I did. (1) got the new mystic blue and (2) got the 6 speed manual. The 3.0 litre engine is as sweet a 6 cyl as you'll ever find. If you are in the market for a convertible, drive this one last (then you will be right there at the dealership when you place your order!)

Gorgeous car with the M sports package that comes with the nicest 18 inch wheels out there. Gorgeous interior too and the handling/performance is fantastic. Nicest looking BMW ever made and indeed based on people's reaction to this car it is a head turner. I'm not quite comfortable yet with the attention and stares this vehicle gets.

This precison workhorse of machine is incredibly fun to drive with the tight suspension of the sport package and 17" alloy rims with the accompanying Conti Sport performance tires. The acceleration is head and shoulders above the 325, the 323 and the 328. It has consistent torque and power above 3000 RPM up to 100MPH. The layout of the interior and the overall feel of the car as a solid dynamic whole give it tremendous attitude as a touring master. This will go down as a classic BMW model and apart from the M which may be a bit over the top, may be the crown jewel of the 3 series thus far in this owner's opinion.

After 20 years of waiting to buy a BMW, this car has not disappointed! The interior is stylish yet simple. The 184 hp V6 has plenty of power to get up and go when needed. I purchased my 325I with a manual transmission and I love every minute of the drive and I find myself making excuses to go somewhere just so I can take my car out. The ride is smooth and you always feel in control of the car at every speed and on all types of roads. The added bonus was that I got the car for $700 over invoice which I thought was great for a car that is in such demand. Can't wait to see what BMW comes up with in a few years when I make my next purchase.

It was a toss between the 325ci, Infiniti g35 and the Lexus IS. The IS is changing it's model next year and it's as small as a civic. The Infiniti is still selling @MSRP and it needs tuck up and smooth out that ugly backside. I almost walked away from this car bimmer because of the snotty dealers - esp @Stevens Creek. If you don't want to deal with the stupid dealers take my advice -go through a broker!

I could have purchased a dealer close-out 2003 for $3000 less, but happt I waited !!!! Absolutely Fun to drive !! & I believe the nicest looking 3-series to date...easily !!

Had corrosion on underside of trunk lid after only 20K miles. Had a brake issue also. Both issues resolved by Dealer under warranty. Dealer was very helpful, providing loaner, washing the car during service, and actually rubbed out a rubber mark on the front fender. Car drives like a champ, has long leg room in front seats and has a 400 mile range. Fun to drive.

MUCH FASTER THAN I EXPECTED AND MORE SMOOTH THAN I KNEW A CAR COULD BE. A REAL ADULT CAR FOR THOSE THAT DON'T WANT TO BE OLD.

Purchased used w/ 18K miles almost 2 years ago. My driving is both suburban and highway, mostly conservative but I like to open it up once in a while. I drive about 20k per year. As title says, this car is a great combo of features when you have to use it to bring a kid to soccer practice, etc and like to "play" a bit. Not as comfortable on a long trip as our Volvo but it's livable. We have extended service plan up to 100k and it is worth it as with almost all Euro cars everything is very expensive and BMW takes full advantage.

I recently got a 325Ci, after driving a 2000 GT Eclipse. Its just as sporty, but of corse much more refined and comfortable. In terms of performance, with the man transmission it is pretty lively. The 330 is probably more powerful, but I don't feel short on power.

I just retired for the service after 27 years and I purchased the 2004 325CI right before returning to the United States and this was by far my favorite car and I could not have purchase a better car for my money and retirement. I drove it in Italy and Germany and you know the speed limit over there is not really a problem. SO, I put the petal to the metal and I was in love. This is a wonderful and sporty car. I was surprise that the back seat was confortable since I really did not care for the back seat. I don't plan on having anyone seating in the back seat anyway :). But it's was more confortable than the Z4.

BMW's tagline of the "Ultimate Driving Machine" applies here. The 330i accelerates smoothly, stops quickly and takes the curves aggressively. If you are considering a 3, this is it. Not a lot of luxuries on the inside (bells and whistles) but paying for the things you can't see, i.e., brakes, handling, suspension, etc. A true performance car. I suggest the Xenon headlights, the fold down rear seats and the premium package...the rest is up to you. If you purchase, do the Performance Center Delivery...you won't regret it. One more thing, no automatic carwashes. Lastly, enjoy the ride, a great road car.

This car is smoother the faster you go, at least that is what my wife says. I got the sport package and the DVD nav system. Love them. No leather, moon roof or automatic for me. I want a drivers car. HID lights are great! What fun!

I really love my car. I keep the top down even in the chicago winter! If it's above 20 degs., the windscreen and the seat heaters do a fine job of keeping the front seat passengers warm! No need for a hardtop. If I were to buy this again, I'd spend the extra $$$ to get the 330Cic with the 6 spd manual trans. The extra power would make it that much more fun.

Sporty, luxurious, fun AWD vehicle -- fast, smooth, quiet. Don't be fooled by "only 184 horses" -- gearing plus no turbo lag mean you get all the power you can use in an urban area. Drove other AWD sedans, plus RWD bimmers -- this one's da bomb.

I have asked my car guy to get me an SUV, a convertible, and on and on, but I cannot leave my 330I with SMG and M package. The car history revealed it was not a dealer car but sent over as a test vehicle then landed in an auction. I am told it is lower and more tuned than other models. I love driving it. The original tires were Michelin Pilot Sport summer which burned off at 25,000 miles. I replaced with Pilot All-Season and rears are wearing considerably faster than fronts. Just had the full 50,000 inspection and C check, the first off warranty. The full day check, new belts, fluids, an electrical glitch in a tail light and rear brakes, pads and rotors, came to $1900.

The Performance Package option may look a bit expensive, but the added tweaks are well worth it. Drive this car hard, and it won't complain. The ride is firm, but supple and not as jarring as an M can be. This car intuitively knows where I want it to go, and it feels confident and safe at any speed. I thought the steering wheel was a little weird at first (that suede stuff), but now it feel right. A truly awesome machine.

I have always driven used cars, reliable Toyotas and the like, and have never splurged on a nice car. Wow! I am so glad I finally broke out of that mentality. This car is worth every cent I paid for it. It is amazing, and with the top down on a sunny California afternoon, it is heaven. The handling, the look, the speed, everything is so much more than I have ever enjoyed in a car. This car makes driving in traffic actually bearable, and even fun. I would do it again in a second.
