Used 2022 Audi SQ7 SUV Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

The 2022 Audi SQ7 offers two trim levels: Premium Plus and Prestige. Both come with a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine (500 horsepower, 568 lb-ft of torque) paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard. Performance between the two trims is identical; the Prestige just offers more standard features.

Premium Plus
The SQ7 includes a handful of performance upgrades and more standard features than the regular Q7. Highlights include:

  • 21-inch wheels
  • Upgraded brakes
  • Adaptive air sport suspension
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Hands-free liftgate
  • Four-zone automatic climate control
  • Power-adjustable, heated front seats
  • Leather upholstery
  • Power-adjustable, heated steering wheel
  • Digital gauge cluster display
  • Dual-touchscreen infotainment displays with navigation
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay/wired Android Auto smartphone interface
  • Bang & Olufsen audio system
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • 360-degree camera (gives you a top-down view of the SQ7 and its surroundings for tight parking situations)
  • Automatic emergency braking (warns if a front impact is imminent and applies the brakes if the driver doesn't respond in time)
  • Adaptive cruise control (adjusts speed to maintain a constant distance between the SQ7 and the car in front) with Traffic Jam Assist
  • Lane departure warning (alerts you if the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane)
  • Lane keeping system (makes minor steering corrections to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane)

Prestige
Builds on Premium Plus features with:

  • Dual-pane acoustic glass for front and rear windows
  • Power soft-closing doors (catch as they're being closed and gently pull shut)
  • Multi-color ambient interior lighting
  • Leather-wrapped dashboard panels
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Heated rear seats
  • Sunshades for rear side glass and rear hatch
  • Head-up display (displays important information in your sight line onto the windshield)
  • Intersection assist (issues warning at up to 18 mph if cross-traffic is detected)
  • Traffic sign recognition

Some Prestige features, such as ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, are available options on the Premium Plus. Other key add-ons available for both trims include:

  • Black Optic package (dark exterior accents with summer performance tires)
  • Red-painted brake calipers
  • Towing package (increases trailering capacity up to 7,700 pounds)

Options exclusive to the Prestige trim include:

  • Luxury package (faux suede headliner, massaging front seats, extended leather treatment)
  • Sport package with active roll stabilization and sport differential
  • Advanced LED headlights with laser technology
  • Infrared night vision camera
  • Upgraded 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen surround-sound system

Which SQ7 trim does Edmunds recommend?

Of the SQ7's two trims, the Premium Plus is our pick. It comes loaded with all you'd want in a big luxury SUV, especially with adaptive cruise control now a standard feature. Even adding the optional Executive package, which includes ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, keeps the price lower than the top-level Prestige trim.
