Fantastic vehicle
Great car. Have driven and owned many cars in my life and this is by far the best. Do some cars perform better when it comes to acceleration ? Yes , , the m3 or the Mercedes amg however they cost way more than the Audi S4. Design is great, comfort is great and there is plenty of space. European cars are just not built with 10 cup holders . Nobody needs that. If one needs a huge car get a Tahoe or a suburban .

4 Door Hotrod
This car redefines what a 4 door sports sedan truly is. Acceleration is incredibly strong, specially if you use launch control (my wife hates when I do that!). 0-60 is actually accomplished in about 4.2 seconds. Cornering is relatively flat but smooth and composed. Exhaust note is elegant, but definitely sport. Some crackle and pops both when shifting under moderate to hard acceleration and on the down shifts. The 8-speed automatic is extremely quick. Initially, I was disappointed in not being able to row my own, but this 8 speed has finally convinced me the manuals, while more fun, have no chance when it comes to pure speed. Putting the transmission in manual mode provides the same sense of control as a true manual, both up and downshifts are immediate and lightening quick. The car is a sleeper on the outside, which makes embarrassing drivers of other german products a blast when they don't know or expect the acceleration from the hot turbo V-6. (turbo is in the middle of the V). Turbo lag is non existent if you plan ahead - it can cause an unpleasant delay if you decide to punch and the transmission happens to be in the complete wrong gear. I primarily drive it in Manual mode, which is where any true enthusiast will do most of the driving.

A gentleman’s GT
The Prestige model adds a considerable amount to the price of an S4, but it is worth every penny. Dual pain glass results in a car that is supremely isolated from road noise, the B&O sound system produces exceptionally crisp and clean output, and the adaptive cruise control and traffic jam assist provide welcome relief from congested urban driving. More generally, the optional sport differential and adjustable suspension opens the door to both smooth long distance cruising and backroad fun. While there are other cars that are faster or sharper handling, nothing in the same price range comes close to the S4’s complete package, and especially so if you want a car that is not only reasonably compact and that also can accommodate four mature adults in comfort.

Just so fast
This car is a rocket. Put this in Sport mode and try not to smile. Use this is a daily commuter and get decent mpg. I find the car very comfortable. I did get the upgraded nappa leather seats. They have a massaging function which is awesome. The lumbar and side bolsters are also fully adjustable. I also have the adjustable dampening system and put it in comfort mode on long highway rides. Technology is amazing inside the car with virtual cockpit and available google earth and live traffic. Only complaint is I wish the screen was a touchscreen. The road noise at high speed could be better and I assume the acoustic glass on prestige model takes care of that. But, with the B&O 3-D sound you will not notice it. Excellent sports sedan. Would definitely consider getting another one.
