The 4.2 is taut,firm yet very comfortable.Tossable around town,smooth and stable on highway.Got 4.2 sedan for my wife now I need to figure a way to get RS6 for me.

wounderful sedan. perfect interior. not so great on gas. around 15 mpg in the city. sound system could be better. trunk space is great as well as snow driving. the feel of this car is firm and confident. a real workhorse. kick down to sport mode or use the tip and blast by most anyone. bad weather? see ya bmw.

I have owned Mercedes, a BMW and drove several Porsches before deciding on this car and have never had a single regret. The styling is second to none and the performance, especially in sport mode, is tremendous. I feel like I am in my old Cobra again. The engine even has a nice growl to it like it's American counterparts.

One of the best cars I have ever owned and a great fun car to drive. There are three in extended family, and we love them!

Every day I travel steep, twisty mountain roads. The first time I took the 2.7T (6M) up the mountain, I couldn't believe how it clawed at the hills and turns, wanting more throttle than I had the guts to give. Even in rain and snow, the A6 has never blinked. When it goes, it really goes, however, its seen more than its fare share of time in the shop, 10+ times for major and minor stuff. :(
