Used 2006 Audi A4 2.0T quattro 4dr Sedan AWD (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Practical and fun to drive
Second A4 I've owned and this one is a lot more fun to drive. 2.0T is a great engine, lots of pep despite a little turbo lag. Have been averaging almost 28 mpg. Handling is great, very responsive. Have had a few electrical problems, but still love the car. Can't get it away from my wife! Back seat a little tight, but great trunk space. Nav system takes some getting used to, not as intuitive as my wife's MDX. Really like the satellite radio and the whole sound system. Overall very satisfied.
Great car, Fun to drive!
I got the S-Line package, and it really accentuates the handling of the car. It looks great on the outside, and the big wheels and sport suspension really makes the car handle well without riding rough. The interior is good looking and well laid out, and everything is made of nice materials. I also got the Bose package and it sounds pretty nice. Car is still breaking in, and mileage is getting better every day. Car is very quiet and refined on the highway, and is a lot of fun on a twisty road. I'm 6'3", and there's plenty of room for me, and theres still room for people in the back.

Best A4 Yet
I've had several A4's and this is the best on yet. The others were manual shift and I was concerned that there would be a performance loss with this car, but that's not the case. Like all Audi's this one is solid, designed well, and fun to drive. The tiptronic is simply amazing with three different shift options - sport mode does a great job of keeping the revs up, downshifting correctly - all in all, feeling just like a manual without the hassle of shifing. Everyone I know loves this car. I test drove a new 330i, and while the BMW does have a great motor, I'm not a fan of it's design - too overwrought and incongruent - hard to look at, inside and out.
If the interior were better......
Overall this is a very nice vehicle. It handles extremely well. The ride is much better than expected. Very little noise from the road. Good pricing compared to BMW and Mercedes. I have always heard how great the interiors are on Audi's but I am not very impressed. The plastic surrounding the center console looks cheap. The turbocharged four is excellent but noisy. It is quicker than the 200 hp in my Acura TSX but far more noisy.
2006 A4 B7 quattro with 223k miles
August 2022. Daily driver. We have put 100k miles on it since we bought it in 2016. This is a fine car. Rides nice, plenty of power, quiet interior. It is one of those vehicles that does not beat you up on a long trip. It is at its best on the open road. I am the sole maintainer of the car and have never taken it in for anything broken, except for a nationwide recall on the passenger-side airbag which the local dealer took care of at no cost. I have kept track of maintenance costs. I do all the wrenching and regular service work like oil changes myself. Annual maintenance cost has been $887 per year average which includes tires. Not bad. This car can be classed as an enthusiast's car and has plenty of aftermarket parts support. It also has a strong automotive forum following with several websites and lots of grass-roots how-to knowledge/advice available on those sites. The car requires diligent maintenance. It's true, Audi's aren't happy unless they are dripping something on the garage floor. But if kept up properly can be an outstanding older (Near vintage) automobile. Hayabusafalcon.
