Great car with two major flaws
I love my wife's Q5. Amazing SUV. The best I have ever driven. I loved my Audi A3. It's agile, sporty, comfortable, compact, and the style is beautiful. I love the simple, elegant and sporty lines. My other car is a Porsche Cayman, so I have a very high standard. It is almost perfect. But the two flaws it has are so bad I will never buy an Audi again. Which is really sad, honestly. The first one is the MMI. The connectivity with my phone is spotty. It sometimes works, other times it does not. I am a very, very technical guy who has worked on the cloud, semiconductors that go in the cars, software, etc. I read everything I could find online and could not fix the problem. It's so bad, I now connect the phone to my car using USB-C to make sure it works. But even then, it keeps forgetting my favorites, it keeps asking me if it should turn on Wifi and bluettoth, it sometimes takes four 'clicks' to get to my phone interface in the car. It's simply bad software. Worse, Audi has no plans on updating the software on your car. The dealership told me they only do small point updates to fix specific problems, it's not like you can update to the latest version and get continuous improvements. It's so bad, that there is a black market of MMI software where they will ship you a newer version for a couple hundred bucks. The second major flaw is the dealers. They are terrible. We paid for services upfront, and ended up going to a high-end car shop to get the oil changed because the dealer is useless. They are simply not interested in servicing your car, repairing anything, or even answering your questions. This is a $40K car, and I bought two (other one is a Q5) so I spent a total of around $100K. You can get better service at McDonald's. [Two year update: I feel the same, great car, terrible software. I have received no updates on the software. In today's age this is unacceptable ] Again, I am really sad for the situation because I LOVE everything else about my A3 and my Q5.

The engin wouldn't start
I bought this model a month ago and it broke down twice (the engine wouldn't start). I went to the Audi representative and they told me that they were aware of this issue and that it would be resolved in Q1 2025 (i.e. in 6 months). Think before you buy Audi!
