Mixed Bag
After looking at a ton of Suvs I finally decided to go with a 2002(55k) MDX. Everything was great with the car until strange noises started to occur. Mainly between 35-40mph. It sounded like running over rumble strips. The problems just got worse from there. Rough shifting, clunking, etc. I went and tried to find an answer for this problem and discovered that transmission problems in these vehicles are pretty common. I love this car but the transmission is a HUGE issue for me. I am very disappointed with this vehicle and I will not be buying another Acura product.
Acura for Life
This is my second Acura. My first was a 1990 Integra that I still own with 135,000 miles which has no rust and still runs like a dream. I thought of buying the BMW X5, but I couldn't resist the MDX. Maybe next time, but I'll always have at least one ACURA in my garage. ACURA FOR LIFE!!!!!

Simply the best
We've owned our share of SUV's and have test driven about 20 and the MDX bar none with the exception of the BMW X5 compares. Value, reliability, roominess.
Wife's Car
For the last 15 years my wife has driven a couple of different SUV's and she says she'll stay with the MDX. Handles great in snow and ice. Smooth on the highway.
Mini Van on Steroids
The wife and I got ours when our son was just a month old. We love the mini van like room combined with Acura style, performance, and quality.
