and 15K miles, not a single regret. The car has been completely problem free and remains a joy to drive. If you're looking for a fun-to-drive, economical, comfortable car, then the Kizashi is tailor-made for you. Many people want to compare the Kizashi to the Civic/Mazda3, but Suzuki has in reality created a bargain alternative to the Acura TSX or even Audi A4. Best seats, handling, and build quality of any car I've ever owned. Why Suzuki isn't selling more of these is a complete mystery to me. If folks would give a test drive, I think they'd be shocked at what they can get for their money.

Traded an '09 Mazda6 for the Kizashi, and I can't find one area where the Kizashi isn't superior! The entire car feels like it's carved out of a solid piece of rock! Ergonomics are terrific. Interior design and materials are topnotch. Gives the impression of being a much more expensive car. Beautiful gauges, especially at night. Engine is silent at cruise and idle and has plenty of power. The CVT took some getting used to, but seems to work well especially at highway speeds. Been averaging 27 mpg mixed and about 32 mpg highway. For me, this car is the perfect size. Most other midsized cars, like my Mazda6, have grown too large. Most fun I've ever had driving, and I've turned a few heads too!

On our way to a nice day trip about 160 miles from home when the car started acting up. Only 10 days old with 700 miles on it and the car's gears stop shifting and the rpm were running 4-5k at 30-40 mph. We switched to manual mode and the car worked for a little while but switched automatically to drive mode and revved the engine again at 30-40 mph. Pulled over for the third time and shut car off and tried again in manual mode. This time car gas pedal would not work. Car worked in reverse not in drive or manual mode. Called RoadSide assistance and thought all will be fine. Closest tow truck was 45 miles away. (continued)

I bought my red GTS FWD with 2,500 miles for $15k in late 2012 when Suzuki decided to call it quits in the US. I now have 189k miles on it, trouble free. Everything is just where it needs to be and works flawlessly. Sporty performance, great handling, fit and finish are excellent. The seats with lumbar support are excellent for long distance travel. The biggest and only "major" issue was replacement of the Rockford Fosgate stereo amplifier in the trunk, under warranty. I have owned Toyota, Honda (Civic and Accord), Nissan and BMW cars over the years and am picky. This Suzuki has been my best car so far. The car still runs like new and I'm having a difficult time deciding what to replace it with. I would buy another Kizashi in a heartbeat...if the were still made. Ugh...
