For the money, maybe the best Porsche ever!
Jim Dario, Belmont, MA, 11/14/2015
2011 Porsche Boxster S 2dr Convertible (3.4L 6cyl 6M)
Met a member of the Porsche racing team this past Summer at Watkins Glen, and asked him his thoughts on the 2011 Boxster Spyder. His response, "Maybe my favorite Porsche ever...don't ever sell it, and if you do, Call me"
I think that says all you need to know!
987.2 Boxster is all the Porsche u will ever need

2011 Porsche Boxster S 2dr Convertible (3.4L 6cyl 6M)
This is top down motoring at its finest. 987.2 models 2009-2012 are the last of the analog steering, flat 6, manual transmission. This is a true sports car. This S model has additional horsepower. It is small, light, agile, and fairly powerful. This is a very capable sports car. The mid engine offers near perfect balance. The 6 spd manual transmission enhances the driver involvement. The … car is a perfect little canyon carver. It is a much better handling sports car than my old BMW Z4. No better driving little sport cart than the Porsche Cayman or Boxster for the money. Production was low and good examples are getting harder to find... or I would have 2 ! Unfortunately the price is going up. But still worth the money in my opinion. 3 years of trouble free ownership as of 2023.
Driving therapy

2011 Porsche Boxster S 2dr Convertible (3.4L 6cyl 6M)
I love how it handles and sounds. Top down is the way to go even in maine fall and spring. Two trunks are a plus. Golf clubs fit in the back and folded cart fits in the front. Since I suck at golf I like having that long therapy drive home
