Owned this car for three years and put over 65,000 miles on this car and have had not had one single issue with it. Although the car is extremely slow at acceleration. Moreover the cabin materials are all plastic and gives the vehicle a rather cheap feel but that was to be expected with such a low priced vehicle. So i would recommend for anyone who wants low price and reliability over looks and speed.

I bought a sedan over the Note even though I could have gotten a Note for a lot less. I like the sedans looks better. I bought the car for the gas mileage, interior space and trunk size. I am a large guy and fit with no problems. I did not buy it because it is a sport sedan, but it is practical for my daily commuting needs. Many reviews I read on here this site and others make me wonder how many are disgruntled owners that wanted a more expensive car (ALTIMA) and could only afford the Versa!?! I could have bought most any Nissan on the lot, but I chose the versa-tility of the Versa sedan

2014 Nissan Versa Do not even bother to think

I totally agree with the other car owner's (Baj) review. I have 2014 Nissa versa (new purchased from Nissan dealership). Same issues as Baj. So far until mid September 2018, drive belt has been replaced 3 times, transmission has been replaced and recently alternator has to be replaced. and yes forgot to mention the taillight has been replaced as well. I was trying to drive the car and it won't move forward and had to take it to dealership and was told to get the taillight replaced. It was surprising to me what the taillight has to do with car not getting into motion. But after reading other reviewer's message I understand that taillight on this car is somehow linked to the transmission. My only suggestion would be please do not even bother to think about buying this car.

I’m sure there’s one that doesn’t have this transmission but if you’ve never heard of one then do your homework. It’s a pain to replace, and expensive too! I could on and on but I won’t. And don’t get me started w the other problems I’ve owned this for 6 months and I’m trading it in before it craps the bed on my family and I.

This car is absolutely terrible!!! The handling isn’t good in the rain or snow. The CVT transmission is garbage!!!! I have a 2014 and have only had it for two years and a belt broke and since I was gifted it and it was preowned when bought I have no warranty. It ended up a nightmare to try to fix. $4000 for a new transmission and now it seems a head gasket is blown on the motor and I’m screwed!!! Now I get to buy a new car and carry loads of debt. I’ll be trading this pos in.
