Early Maximas rock
The cars were comfortable, powerful, felt like they were glued to the road, or on rails. The sound system was great, I had two, I think a 2000 and 2003 GLE, and I loved them. I got a few $800 or $900 repairs when the mileage was in the 1403. The repairs were the coils an an oil leak.

super car
This is my second Maxima, and I'll drive it for 300K. Rode first one 220K, then gave it to my son who has had no problems. Style is dated on the 2003, but i couldn't wait for the 04s, which are beautiful. Totally dependable, no warranty work required at all.
Great car - Bad Paint
I love the car. It has great power and handles great. Im 6'4 and have good room except for the gas and brake pedals are to close. Also after you start washing and waxing your car your notice many new chips after every wash. The paint quality is the worst Ive ever seen.
Great fun!
I have driven my Maxima GLE for 2 years and love it more now than when I purchased it! It has great acceleration and handles smoothly. The BOSE sound system is terrific. Very reliable.
The Maxima is a must have
I truly love this car! It was a toss up between a Lexus and the Maxima and the Maxima won by far! It is very stylish and dependable! I feel this is an excellent value for the money. The car feels very solid and safe to drive, I don't feel like I m driving in a tin can on wheels.
