I LOVE MY CAR!!!!
My 93 240 has 90k. We just got back from a 2k mile trip, my car handled like a CHAMP! We were getting almost 400 mls/tank(12 Gal tank)! It was hot & we had the air going the whole time, it blew ice cold! It has its wears & tears that need replacing on any car after 90k, but we've decided to work on it as a project car. It already has a lot of get up & go power, but we plan on beefing up the engine(maybe TURBO), adding fog lights, chrome rims etc. With this car there are net based clubs that help with upgrades. It'll be fun! I would reccomend this car to anyone. It has been a great car for me & I have no plans to sell it.
Dependable
My Nissan 240SX is the most dependable car I ever had. It handle cornering better than the top rated sports cars.
Performs great for a money pit
I bought my 93 240 at 110K miles. Ever since it has given me horrible electric problems. Alternator goes out, both window motors fail, brake switch failed (3 times), speaker wires failed. If you read anything about this car you'll notice it has huge elctrical problems. The engine always ran strong though, and I never had to repair any part of the drivetrain at all. This car is SO much fun to drive, but not worth the expense. I'm buying an Acura Legend LS instead of another 240.
Fun car
I have had it for almost a year know. Have not had any trouble with it except for the wear and tear but that is expected out of any car.
Nissan 240sx
I have loved this car. Changed the oil, changed the tires and battery. Had reccommended service. New brakes at 135000 miles. Only mechanical problem didn't happen until 160000+ miles. Had to replace the radiator etc, Still having that problem. Dealership coated the exterior on a regular basis for 2 years and finish still looks good.
