    I have a 2006 Lincoln Ls and recently my air conditioner started blowing extremely hot air only i did a test and i got a few errors (Driver & Passenger coolant valve open, Defrost door actuator circuit, and Dual coolant control valve or wiring). Does anyone know how i can fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

    I have just recently taken my Lincoln to the dealer and they have told me that the Heather Control Valve has gone out. The Control Heather Valve was causing the static on my stereo screen to get static. It was also making my status screen go crazy.

    I think Ford is purposely keeping Lincoln volumes now and not putting big cash on the hoods for 2 reasons - don't cheapen the brand any more than it's already been cheapened and to force out more Lincoln dealers. There are just too many and while we may not like the idea of buying Lincolns at Ford stores if that allows them to put more into unique vehicles then I think ... Read More

    I believe that is a recall and it has something to do with the rear window defroster. I would call the dealer first and see if your car is part of the recall.

    For the fronts - yes. For the rear brakes you need a tool to turn the piston as you depress them due to the parking brake mechanism (use the NAPA tool). Make sure you have the car running when you bleed the brakes to activate the ABS/advancetrac solenoids.

Air intake was oval and painted black, not body color; fog light openings were round Also saw the Fusion (not bad) and Lincoln Zephyer (nice, but V6 only could hurt it); haven't seen the Milan yet (except for pictures)

    The Zephyr is not replacing the LS. The LS will continue to be sold until 2007 or so and will eventually be replaced by a new vehicle built off the Volvo platform, most likely with available V8 power and AWD. Lincoln did drop the V6 option on the LS for 2006 to avoid competing with the Zephyr.
