A treat to drive for an economical person
Scotty Kilmer rated this year one of the best used cars to last over 20-30 years. It’s one of the last models to have the Honda power train setup that is legendary for their reliability. It’s without the CVT. Lots of car manufacturers are having trouble with their CVTs, even Toyota‘s corollas. Hondas may have transmission problems with their bigger cars such as the accord but not with this small civic. By buying this used, I’ve also avoided the problems with modern direct injection engines and oil dilution. In flat highways I could get nearly 45 mpg and 35 in the city. I have the EX with the sunroof and beige interior and it’s beautiful inside and looks sporty on the outside. I put a touch screen on mine and it makes it look modern. For a work vehicle, it makes me feel that the more I drive the more the better and not a feeling that I’m losing life on the car. The downsides include I only have adequate passing power on the freeway. If you want to easily pass cars on the freeway, then you will be disappointed. But buyers of this shouldn’t be looking for that. For an economical person, I feel I’ve made a great financial decision.

Impressed with my Honda
Honda EX-L with Navigation is a great car. Very comfortable, great pick up and steady even at 70 on the highway.
