2005 Ford F-150 4dr SuperCab Lariat 4WD Styleside 6.5 ft. SB (5.4L 8cyl 4A)
Great design inside and out. This is easily the quietest vehicle I have owned, which is a surprise for a truck. Handles heavy loads without breaking a sweat from the engine and powertrain. I also like the deeper box for carrying more loose material. The 4 wheel drive works very well, but you have to be careful when cleaning since Ford designers put several blind pockets near the wheel wells which tend to fill with mud.
Styling. Load carrying capacity. Ground clearance. Well designed interior layout with simple but functional features. The audiophile system is incredible.
Audio controls are sometimes difficult to use. Steering wheel controls are helpful, but you can't change the mode (CD, radio, etc.) or the channel. Fuel economy is poor with city driving, but in line with other trucks in this class. Besides, you don't buy a vehicle like this for the gas mileage.
