2001 Chevrolet Tracker 4WD 2dr Convertible SUV (2.0L 4cyl 5M)
I bought my 2001 Tracker 4x4 convertible used with 18,000 miles on it. It has all the power features I didn't care about too. I had a 1993 Tracker prior, so I sought out the 2.0L 4cyl w/5spd manual combo. I cannot speak for the stock performance because within a matter of hours of owning it...I had the Calmini suspension lift and Interco 29" Thornbirds installed. However, the vehicle handles incredibly well off road in 4x4. Traction in 4x2 mode is poor at times due to the lack of weight in the rear. Fun to drive, inexpensive to buy, good on gas, and never been stuck = a winner.
Simple design, small package, convertible top, and costs about 1/3 less than a Jeep.
More cup holders. A little more torque at lower RPM's would be nice too.
