New Volvo for life
Everything has been great with this vehicle. Traded a Land Rover for the Volvo......have not regretted it.

This is a solid car !
This is my second XC60. The ride, the coast of this vehicle down from Eisenhower tunnel is unmatched. 25MPG may not seem impressive but the acceleration is more than enough. I am befuddled by the bad reviews. I drove one for 6 years and am very, very happy.

Great no-problem car
I have bought many cars in my life. This is the first one that I did not visit the dealer for any type of issue for the first 12K miles. Very safe car, too.

Not at all worth the money
Total disappointment for this overpriced vehicle that has multiple major issues. Found dead on driveway within five days of buying it brand new and driving home from dealer, less than 100 miles driven. Dealer said it required a “software” upgrade - and an estimated 30 days to repair! Of course, that tune changed when I immediately demanded my money back. RECAP: brand new vehicle requiring major software fixes! As for the confused infotainment system, I still await the bright spot Volvo technicians to explain why I must negotiate multiply infotainment screens to SIMPLY turn on the radio that randomly turns off or on each time the vehicle ignition is turned off or on. Must do this only while safely pulled off the road and parked so as not to cause major traffic hazards while being distracted and trying to sort through multiple infotainment screens. As far as that goes, what bright spot thought it would be good to display the tiny, tiny navigation system map at center of the speedometer? Need a magnifying glass to simply see it! Does Volvo not beta test these things anymore? How about SIMPLY turning on or turning off the heater or AC without running off the road! Wow, software updates over the airways and/or once per year said the dealer. No, not really, once per year immediately turned into at least once every three months, but of course, one must inconveniently take the vehicle into the dealer for updates. This while Volvo sends customers advertising for improved software performance for low, low additional costs. All the while the vehicle is supposed to be fully covered with their warranty?!?!?! Ridiculous that I also must pull to the side of the road to safely turn on / off or adjust heat or AC settings! As for the cruise control, beware of the car involuntarily jerking off to the right at every exit turn off while driving on highways. I could go on and on and on, but clearly the bright spots at Volvo get failing marks for safety and reliability on this vehicle.
