HYBRID AWD PURE - FAILURE

2022 Volvo XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered 4dr SUV AWD w/Prod. End 11/21 (2.0L 4cyl Twincharger gas/electric plug-in hybrid 8A)

We purchased the car in June. Just this week before the first snowstorm AWD and HYBRID stopped. You cannot put the car into that mode. All we have is front wheel drive and we can't charge while driving. Service Dept answer is to drive it until the can get the back ordered part for which they can't provide a date. Another car has the same issue so it is not just us. DO NOT BUY A VOLVO. Only has 10K miles and I want them to buy it back.

I purchased a Volvo XC60 B6 AWD just last October 6,2021. The car is beautiful, comfortable and handles very nicely. Plenty of power, very smooth ride and quiet. The first issue was that the Weston Volvo agent that sold me the car DoD not take the time to introduce me to many of the technology and convenient features of the car. It seems he was also selling a car to another customer. Well, that led to much frustration and problems that I was left to deal with on my own. I had to make several return trips to Weston just to ask for helpgetting acquainted with the car and it's high tech functions. So, when you are spending $70k on a new car don't drive it home until you are given a thorough rundown by the sales agent on the features and operation of the vehicle. I feel this was inconsiderate and rude. As a result with my dissatisfaction with Weston Volvo I decided to switch to Gunther Volvo Coconut Creek. Which is closer to my home anyway. Well, now I'm back here for the second melt down of the the Android Auto. The service department has no idea why this happened and couldn't even tell me when they would have it fixed. After waiting for 3 hours they did provide a loaner for me but all these issues have made me less trusting of the Volvo ownership "experience".

Beautiful car, but technology is terrible

Don't waste your time. I wanted this car for months but never thought I thought I would have such trouble with the technology. I have to reboot my system every day and it still locks up and things freeze up on me.

Purchased my XC60 in February. Many of the concerns I have seen in previous reviews have been fixed. I'm certainly an Apple fan, but the google interface works well and I haven't really noticed that CarPlay isn't available yet. Most importantly, this car is a blast to drive. I've been getting well over 20 miles of all electric range on my commute to work. It has a great mix of luxury feel and responsive driving fun. There are a ton of included safety features that work seemlessly. I shopped pretty much every vehicle in this class and the XC60 was by far the best mix of value and performace for the money

Safest and Most Luxurious Car I’ve Owned

To begin, I’m SUPER shocked to see so many negative reviews. I guess Volvo worked out all the bugs by the time I took delivery of my vehicle. I’ve had my black exterior and blonde interior Volvo XC60 for about 2 months now, and I’ve not had a single issue. I purchased the top of the line Inscription B5 with every feature. I got a terrific deal on it too. About $5k below MSRP, which is nearly unheard of in 2022. I managed to get my XC60 with stock 22 inch wheels, which is rare on an SUV. This car is seriously amazing. I’ve driven a BMW before and honestly, the Volvo is a step above. The Bowers and Wilkins sound system is freaking amazing. Sometimes I don’t want to get out of my car to go inside because the system just serenades me. It makes me feel like I’m in a concert hall. The ride quality and external acoustics of this car are simply amazing. You can’t really hear the wind at 65-70 mph. The suspension on mine is great and the ride is still superb even with the 22s. There are no creaks or rattles, which are my biggest pet peeves, and why I won’t buy a Mercedes. Also, build quality is excellent too. The SUV is super solid and feels very strong. Accompanied with the exceptional safety features that are actually useful and not gimmicky, I feel safe if in the unfortunate event I were to be involved in an accident. Obviously, Volvo is known for safety, but you have to drive and be in the ambience of the vehicle to understand. The infotainment can be a little bit interesting in the beginning but once you get used to it, it’s awesome. You can use voice commands for literally anything and everything from AC and ventilated seats, to calling and playing a specific song. You rarely need to touch the screen. Overall, this vehicle has been fantastic. I’m super happy with my purchase. I feel sorry for those who’ve had a bad experience.
