Used 2005 Volvo S40 Sedan Consumer Reviews

The T5 has a fantastic balance of performace and comfort. The attention to detail in this car is remarkable.
Very Disappointed
I have had this car for less than a year and it has been in the shop for brake problems 3 times already. I've also had to go in for software updates for 3 times also. Now I'm having a airbag issue. The company is non- responsive to these problems. This car has made me miss my old car that was 8 years old.

Fun to drive!
I'm loving my volvo! I've had it for almost a year and 3 STRANGERS have asked me if they can hop in the front seat while I was pumping gas! What a car. It definitely turns heads and did I mention it was FUN TO DRIVE?!
Good car for a great price
I researched this car for a year before buying and believe I got a pretty good price...about 10% off MSRP. The base engine has enough get up and go but it certainly doesn't compare to the turbo. I bought this car for the safety features and I don't know of another <$30,000 car with this level of safety equipment - side airbags, whiplash protection and four grades of steel. A very refined car at a reasonable price.
Love my 2nd S40!
I leased my first S40 in 2001...when my lease expired I expected to try out another vehicle...possibly the Audi A4 or the BMW 325 series. After seeing the new S40 models I went to the dealership to test drive it...love at first sight. I must say this is a new and improved S40...much sportier and fancier than my last vehicle. I love the new design and features. Volvo for Life!
