I've been a volvo fan ever since I got my friends 850turbo's 0-60 down to 4.2. I found my volvo in a used car lot, $1000. It looks like a piece if junk, it was in an accident. But it funny as hell watching people drop their jaws when they can't keep up. My car wasn't maintained at all, its rough around the edges I had to redo the wiring because some jackass thought making the windows go down when u turn on the radio was funny. Or making the lights work only when i hold the up window button... you get the point, someone abused my baby.

I invested in Volvo in 1991 with considerable money. I had two new children and thought I was investing in safety and quality. I am one to drive a car for its full life (i.e.10 - 15 years).

Great handling - still very tight suspension. Great brakes. Engine and transmission still running very smoothly

The biggest regret is RWD. In snow I just don't drive it. Major past expense problems have been fuel pumps and alternators. Interior very nice looking, comfortable, great 4C engine, good passenger and all around driving car and good window visibility. Gas milage can be about 30mpg highway. Exhaust muffler system original. Not fancy. Good make & model that will last if taken care of. Quality brand gasoline helpful.

This car has been a reliable, low maintenance vehicle for our family. It has great dependability and is very safe. Also fun to drive!
