Beware!
1st month top would'nt go down took 6 weeks to repair after my wife threatened the Corp office. 8th month would'start two weeks to repair said they replaced the starter. one week later the same problem currently at the dealer can't wait for the same problem to arise so we can initiate the LEMON LAW!

Love the design of this car, but have had many problems. Interior beige leather seats impossible to clean. Stained within the first 2 weeks by a leather belt. Seat retractor broke 5 times. Airbag problems on three different ocacasions. Last one took 2 wks to fix. Car sits way too close to the ground. Damaged mine just going up a gravel driveway. Almost 7,000 for new transmission.

Topless fun in TX
Wife and I bought it about 2 weeks ago and we can't stop driving it. We had a bit of trouble finding the Aq Blue with to options we wanted, but the dealer took care of of. The car is absolute fun to drive, handles corners at 55mph w/o problems, rides low and fast. Auto is fun with tiptronic and seat warmers great in the fall. Warning lights hard to see on dash when sun in behind you. You have to get you one!
new beetle
awesome and super fun to drive. i'm a teenager all over again ;)
HEAD TURNER WITH FLAWS
The V.W. sundown orange attracts lots of attention, all positive from both sexes. The ride is very hard and the level and frequency of noise and rattles is excessive and annoying. Most of the rattles etc eminates from the door-body area.as well as the convertible top. In spite of the noise and ride it is fun to drive.
